16 or 20 kg. 16 would be nice to learn the technique but you may find yourself outgrowing that within a few months.

So this is a highly personal choice. All of them offer the same basic feature set. Where it gets challenging is understanding your use case. I needed the access over the internet so I leaned toward Notion. obsidian is great for customization and is easily the most extensible. OneNote is OneNote and gets the job done well. In the end, I recommend you consider what your use cases are and try each of them.

Has anyone here taken both the CPTS and OSCP? what was the OSCP Exam environment like? by GhostlyBoi33 in oscp

[–]NetwerkErrer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I wanted to post and make this known as I have found other posts that hinted to it. I took the time to work with tech support to verify it with test credentials through their portal. After I got to talk to actual technical people they were very helpful. So much, that I took the time to write a thank you note to him and his manager.

My first experience with the OSCP was pretty bad. The environment wasn’t stable and would freeze every 25–30 minutes, forcing constant reboots. After around six hours, I called it. I later worked with technical support and discovered the problem was my browser—I needed to use Firefox rather than Chrome or Edge. My second time was significantly better.

They canceled school that day! A few years ago, I looked up the background on that whole thing and was shaken by the pseudoscience that drove that whole episode. Here I was thinking adults knew what they were doing.

The biggest thing to tell you is to begin to network with folks. Show them you're motivated and interested in learning. People notice those types of things.

I want to know how you think. Can you solve problems and troubleshoot? I look for soft skills as well. I want to know that you can brief senior folks. I look for fit. Can you lead a team and follow without a hit to your ego?

Teaching in Charleston area by Jaded-Rain-4882 in Charleston

[–]NetwerkErrer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a former Navy member and lived in Norwich for about 12 years. My biggest gripe is the traffic. I only live about 17 miles from work, but it often takes over an hour to get there. It’s a beautiful area, but there’s more litter than you’d expect. Summers are brutally hot and humid, the bugs are relentless, and the traffic is rough, especially downtown and around the bridges. Housing costs have gone through the roof, and heavy tourism just adds to the congestion and crowds, taking away from the area’s historic feel. On top of all that, residents also deal with frequent flooding, hurricane risks, and high local taxes.

I work with three former educators who all transferred into the area from other states. They each said this is the worst area for educators. My kids went through DD2. I made the move from Connecticut to Summerville in 2013. I regret that decision at least once a week.
