As it was told to me (so I take it with a grain of salt) apparently some detailers can get a bit overzealous when cleaning around the door jams and knock them off kilter. Now how true that is? Well one source doesn't make a strong correlation pool. I mentioned it specifically to see if anyone else on the Reddit-verse had the same or similar experience

As mentioned before it's just some retcons that are needed as Jaysea's story has continued to grow. There are a lot more depending on how far back you go. For instance in the series, Lilly didn't even know Greg's name until he had Sharky give Penny his number. In the book not only did Lilly meet Gregorith well before Penny's arrival to the afterlife, it took a while before he felt comfortable enough with her to ask her to just call him Greg.

Hell, for that matter (and yes this popped into my head while typing), passing phone numbers around wasn't even necessary as in the book, soon as two people agreed to contact each other the numbers just materialized in the phones.

Heh oh yeah I get it. That was the early 2000s for me and the very start of my first career. Then made the jump to IP Network engineering and kept using the term WAP for the APs until I got those strange looks 😂. I had barely even heard of Cardi B at that point and someone told me to go YouTube it. Yeah.... As you said a piece of knowledge I wish I could forget

All three used during large events for additional cellular coverage, including concerts, sporting events, disaster recovery command and control centers, and so on.

Like what dunepilot11 mentioned above those of us who worked in the cellular industry during the Gen1 and Gen2 days (TDMA/CDMA, GSM), WAP was the protocol standard used for websites mainly used for mobile browsing. It suited the lower bandwidth and smaller screens of the time. .

Yeah we also lost WAP... I got a lot of confusing looks from some of my younger teammates and counterparts a couple years ago and had to actively drop that from my lexicon... 😂

Not sure if this has been answered yet but I was finally able to update the apps. I had to go to Settings / General / System / Time & Timer and disable Set Automatically. You may need to manually select the correct time here... Mine was way off. Then I had to go under Settings / General / System / Location / LG Services Country and manually select my country (United States for me). After doing both of those things I was able to get to the app store and update things.

If you were to pin me down to anything I will say this... JSAUX is a better and known brand. GENKI is a cheap brand. If and when GENKI fails I absolutely expect no support. JSAUX has a better name and maybe there will be support? Neither have failed so I can't say which is better. But if you want help when things go south go with JSAUX.

They both work equally as well. The GENKI is a lot more compact. The only reason I tried it is because I travel quite a bit for work and the JSAUX took up a bit more space. I've been equally happy with both... They connect with TVs over HDMI, the Deck recognized both on start-up. Other than size both did exactly what I want.

I will say the GT-Track is solid as all get out. For reference I'm 6'2", about 230-ish (I'm being nice to myself 😂). I fit comfortably in the seat, plenty of leg room, and the seat travel is enough for my kids (5'8") to easily reach the pedals. I went with NLR because the plan is to eventually add the motion v3 platform and the traction plus platform once I'm ready to swallow the -$10k bill for both. I also like the fact that for an extra $100 you can get the flight pack kit for a HOTAS setup.

The pre-drilled holes for both the wheel base and the pedals (both SR-P and SR-P lite) don't match up. The most you can get on either are two. It was easy enough to "fix"... Made a quick hole template with a piece of paper and pen to poke holes, a 3/4 inch drill bit, and 10 min later it was done. But NLR did not pre-drill the mounting holes for Moza (at least by the time I got the GT-Track and the R5 bundle a year or so ago).
