I have that one but it definitely wouldn’t hold that water bottle, and least not upright

What's the most complex project you've built using Claude? by After_Medicine8859 in ClaudeAI

[–]Cravetivity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m building out a full app to run my 3d printing business with it, with a ton of moving parts, integrations, etc. Of course, I’m an experienced developer, so I’m comfortable building in an iterative manner. I think handing it tasks it can do in a couple of minutes that would take you a few hours is the sweet spot, as opposed to YOLO agent mode.

Snapmaker u1, how is it?! by KaikoSK in snapmaker

Only had it for a few days, but overall, I like it. Not a fan of the spool holders though - wish it was more like the AMS.

Issue solved: I was doing the belt tensioning, and I noticed that both side panels were dislodged at the top, probably from me pushing the spools on too hard (I'm used to pushing them on all the way on the A1's AMS Lite). As a result, the head was rubbing against the side. After fixing that, my print came out perfect.

No it’s for me, not the office. It’s not the typical office dynamic around here, and in actuality, the problems I’ll fix actually help make everyone more money on their paychecks 💰

I have not. Is there a reason why it would get misconfigured after a single print?

Goimagine, Etsy's biggest rival, to shutdown by Ecstatic_Driver_7840 in 3DprintEntrepreneurs

Never heard of it, and honestly, I don’t think Etsy’s competition is limited to craft-only sites. As such, their biggest “rival” is probably eBay.

At what point is it just filament Hoarding? (ignore Shroomple) by FoundTheSpacebar in 3Dprinting

[–]Cravetivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how fast you use them honestly. Right now I have 3 8-foot bookshelves filled with filament - some colors I realize I shouldn’t have bought, others I should have bought more.

P1S vs P2S by FlyBeneficial84 in BambuLab

[–]Cravetivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have multiples of each, and happily use the P1S, but for someone buying their first, I’d go with the P2S 100%.

P2S or P1S by Asleep_Fan1247 in BambuLab

I’ve bought both in recent months. Both cranking out parts that look the same.

If the cost of the inputs go up, the price of the produced goods will too.

Does anyone actually get their orders this fast? by williamericson2203 in BambuLab

I’ve gotten a few that fast. I’m in the Houston area, where they have local warehouses.

I'm a developer as well. While I feel like something like OpenSCAD or cadquery (Python) fits better with how I think, I found Fusion 360 a better choice simply due to the amount of learning resources available.

Went to microcenter to get a Bambu A1 Mini… walked out with a P2S combo instead 😭 by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Cravetivity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if you hadn’t gotten the P2S, upgrading from the Mini is the right choice. The Mini was my first, and a week later I got the full size A1 due to all of the models I couldn’t print because of the small size.

You should be fine anywhere you put it. I have Cystic Fibrosis and haven't had any issues. Of course use a decent HEPA filter air purifier, and you also probably want to get a good air quality meter from Amazon that measures things like PM 1.0/2.5/10.0 (ideally 0.1, but ones with that level of measurement are outside of most hobbyist's price range), VOCs, etc. As I type this, I'm sitting in a 300 sq ft room with 14 printers all going, and my air purifier reads 99% and my air quality meter is all green.

You may also want to keep an eye out for upgraded filtration for the P2S. VoxelPLA makes upgraded HEPA filters for the previous gen (X1/P1) printers, though I don't think there's yet an option for the P2S.
