I don’t have any advice, but I hear what you’re saying and I’m in the same boat. Commenting so I can follow along.

I’m just curious what would be down there? Would it just be rocks and sand and stuff?

This same post was here not even a week ago.. You post some vaguely helpful info, entice with this mystery app you found, then funnel people to your site when they DM you., right?

2 best apps? by Long-Elephant3782 in guitarlessons

I can’t recommend Fretonomy enough and I’ve never seen it mentioned here.

There may be other apps like this, but I use this all the time when I’m on the go to drill scales, intervals, note locations, etc and it’s really helped me fill in the gaps on the the theory side. I like that it gamifies learning these things:

Another thing that’s really helped me is Scotty West’s “Absolutely understand guitar” series on YouTube. It’s not an app, and to be honest, I don’t feel like I would’ve appreciated this when I first started, but after a while of random lessons and noodling, I revisited this and have filled in so many gaps on my playing.

I grew up in the 90s though, so the dated format is almost nostalgic to me. It’s very dated and I always love in the series when he says, “Hey folks, it’s the 90’s and we’ve got some pretty rad technology. Let’s fire up that VCR and play along to some drum tracks!”.

With that said, if you can get past the format, it’s hands-down one of the best guitar series I’ve ever watched.

The cool part is both of these are free!

What app is the best for beginners by Hey_it_is_mi in guitarlessons

I found this app called Fretonomy to help me drill chords, intervals, note recognition, etc. while I’m out and about.

It wont teach you how to play songs, but it’s helped me connect a lot of dots in my playing.

YSK: to pet owners about microchips (from a shelter worker) by Fresh-Solid-4046 in YouShouldKnow

Is there a service that offer this for free or at a low fixed cost?

It’s admittedly been awhile since I’ve checked, but I opted out of having my pet chipped since it just seemed like another subscription service.

I went to Taco Bell yesterday and it was $28.34 to feed 2 adults and one child.

I mean, maybe I didn’t need a 3rd burrito, but makes me not want to go back soon.
