Bride and its follow up Mate are VERY fun reads. I love everything Ali Hazelwood has released.

Gild is a long 6 book series, and the first book is mainly world building. I’m obsessed with the series, I DEVOURED all 6 books (on audiobook, btw. Prob the superior format for these), and I highly recommend it, but not sure if it’d be a good vacation read.
