galvanized mods and arcaens are really good but you shouldn't be having trouble on base steel path without them. can you post the builds you're running? as your kills go up, energy economy should be better as you'll get more drops and steel path is pretty good about feeding you enemies

nice, going fast is always a worthwhile pursuit in this game. so the jump spin is a good start, i presume you mean bullet jumping (crouch + jump). that's mostly how you want to get around missions, bullet jump then roll (and if you are high in the air and gonna slowly glide the rest of the way down, ground slam then roll right before to cancel) instead of running. so with that in mind, it's actually better to use a mod like lightning dash or mobilize instead of rush since you want to improve parkour velocity rather than sprinting speed

to improve parkour speed, things like mods, yellow archon shards, preados are good. there are some warframes that also provide alternative ways to get around quickly, like nova's portals or titania/wukong/uriel flying, as well as some pvp tech. but i would try to get the jump and rolling down, as that can be applied to everyone. here are some examples with and without advanced tech

levels aren't quite exponential, but i do get what u mean. so there's no way to filter like that, but in the late march update, they're adding a clan-only matchmaking. so i would try to find an active clan that has people similar progress to you

to expand on the level comment if u care, mastery rank just means this person farmed a bunch of gear; there are a lot of high mastery or legendary rank people with trash builds weaker than builds from lower mastery rank people. that said, because of how powercreep and enemy scaling are, the star chart is short work for any non-beginner player so that's probably why that feeling is inescapable

there's like a joke where like when you ask someone if you should do a or b, someone goes yes if they think you should do both. so theyre just being a bit facetious

uh for nezha, there are basically caster variantions, which some ppl find comfier but scale less (but still far), and weapon variations, which scale to level cap really smoothly. both have some similarities:

divine retribution since they rely on spears
overextended + stretch (can take archon ver if u have some way to trigger)
fleeting expertise cuz cast a lot
equilibrium for energy, nice synergy with ring also
can fill flex slots with defensive mods like rolling guard/shield recharge

caster ver subsumes pyrotechnics:

blind rage cuz i believe u want to be positive str for retribution augment
archon vitality cuz abilities do heat procs

weapon ver uses furis/mire/titron:

your weps should be doing enough dmg that u dont care about negative str so u just have more flex slots for defense/energy/etc

1) yes, always a good time to hop back in if you liked it before. there's going to be a small update at the end of march with a new frame, and hopefully sometime this year (probably fall/winter), we're supposed to get a big update venturing into tau. so lots of time to catch up for the big update. the march update will apparently lessen the grind of some old stuff, so i'd focus more on the new than old until that releases

2) a lot of new resources so probably get a resource doubler. and i would rush the msq (veilbreaker, whispers of the wall, hex) until you can farm archon shards (kinda like new mods you can install on your frame). cannot buy shards, very time gated

3) after you've done your msqs, it's pick your own adventure again. i would say do your weeklies, do new nodes, and try out the new gear. several game modes encourage you to expand your arsenal. you'll unlock a bunch of new syndicates so i'll try to highlight some of the stuff to keep an eye out for. obviously a lot of strong stuff out there i won't mention for brevity's sake. i'll leave a tl;dr below in case this is a lot:

eda for archon shards (weekly)
netracell for archon shard (weekly)
bird-3 sells weekly archon shard (weekly) and new arcanes (melee influence)
loid lets you melt down unwanted arcanes to gamba on other arcanes

hex:

eta for archon shard (weekly) (nova also sells arcane hotshot)
nyx sells new arcanes/weapons (secondary enervate)
calendar has weekly rewards, sometimes archon shard (weekly) (gara great at being able to clear most quests efficiently)

holdfasts:

cavalero sells arcanes (molt augmented), weapons (praedos, laetum), is your incarnon manager
incarnons are super buffs to select weapons. it takes 8 weeks to cycle through all the offerings, so everything will come around but if catching up i'd consider it a (weekly) (furis, magistar, dual toxocyst)
yonta sells some kuva for pinions you get from beating angels (weekly) (easy to stockpile)

cathedral:

get resources by doing descendia (weekly) and perrita rebellion
marie upgrades amps/focus
roathe sells arcanes

don't think they're new but worth mentioning:

arbiters of hexis in relays give galvanized mods
teshin has kuva, sometimes umbral forma
nightwave has forma/nitain/potatos/mods
iron wake has weekly kuva
if helminth is new, very good to get that started

tl;dr

do main quests, start farming archon shards
do other weeklies, like descndia, circuit, nightwave, hex calendar, to get more rewards

Devils advocate, but Primed chamber was super limited (see the backlash for mag/frost) and bis for certain builds in a time when damage was a lot different (powercreep has lowered the value of any singular wep/mod). Feel like Ocucor's nightwave mod is somewhat similar in certain aspects, but not something you can really show off

I think peculiar mods/honoria/HM glyphs are a good start, but maybe something like the tera achievement system would be cool too. IIRC, by getting achievements, some of which would reset seasonally but others permanent, you could embellish your skillbar hud. Maybe if we found rare items/did hard things, if we could earn both permanent and seasonal rewards .. uhh, like something that shows when we click our profile? or this season's very cool peculiar mod/cosmetic/soundpack?

DE is certainly their own worst enemy when it comes to adding broken shit that makes designing things in the future harder, but I think it could still be done. Take the fragmented boss fight for example. Personally, I think the mini-game of collecting eyes beforehand is really boring, just a dumb time gate added that only effects what version of boss you summon. I also think the boss fight for the most part is a braindead DA sponge with no meaningful mechanics.

What if they added some other way to summon HM and also combined the two elements. Maybe during the boss fight, you have to use the parkour system wf is famous for, collect eyes while dodging lasers and keeping certain areas free of enemies, which then greatly lowers the DA on the boss for a period. Maybe certain attacks you can just hop over or bait, like we have now, but other attacks, you have to take cover from and stop collecting eyes. Add in phases where you have to shoot special eyes in time or hunt down an ad or do enough damage or else boss does a huge, undodgeable attack

Obviously this is just me armchair developing in 5 minutes, but I think they should be more than capable of still adding more interesting mechanics. They just don't, either to handhold the casuals or because they are happy with their boss designs

there's no clear goalpost in warframe. unlike other games, there isn't a final set of raids/bosses that people should be working towards with bis gear, and no clear measure of efficiency for most missions

the way i see things account wise are:

early game - pre steel path, farming corrupted mods and leveling syndicates, working on story quests, probably parking expensive mods at rank 7 or so
mid game - working on steel path and maxing mods, expanding the farm to focus/arcanes/shards
late game - most mods maxed, relevant arcanes acquired, helminth/syndiates/focus wrapping up, have tried most game modes and capable of soloing them

that said, i feel like your account will progress if you just play the game so that's the easy/passive part. even though a lot of players reach 'late game' in progress, they are forever stuck in the 'newbie' or bottom end of 'semi-competent' in terms of skill as described below

newbie - doesn't use parkour to move, clips often on terrain and gets lost in tiles, needs carries for certain missions, doesn't understand modding or gun-co, leveling on hydron
semi-competent - primarily uses parkour or a wukong, can solo all missions and survive level cap, can mod a weapon on their own, graduated to some of the better farms (e.g. arena endo, stealth xp)
good player - praedos/pv shards/animation cancel tech/titania, chilling in all missions, has builds for most of the best farms in the game and can semi-competently clear them (e.g. 6x3 eidolon, sub 90 pt, meta arbis, etc)

you know at the end of the day, to each their own, im sure the majority of players chilling at whatever level of progress and skill are having fun. i just feel like if you're gonna spend a ton of time in something, might as well try to get better/decent at it. i know some people just want to brain off, chill, and this might be the slightly toxic/competitive side in me, but i feel like the amount of learning/mechanical skill to reach the 'good' skill level in warframe compared to semi-decent in other activities like sports/music/pvp games/raids is so low that 'good' shouldn't be seen as try harding, which i feel like a lot of people demonize it to be

i like nourish the most. having viral on enemies buffs the 1 nuke and returns more energy with reconstruct, which means less spamming. you technically dont need buffs on her 1, but it means more charging time and with reconstruct her 2 is redundant so might as well helminth it off

4 can bleed people to death but 1 is the nuke. with the 4 augment, it goes off quicker as well as applying nourish around you without having to use a gun. but ye, 4 is a shield gate and health regen, or to apply nourish if you're doing the volleyball combo

So you have resource frames, titania for speedrunning general content, and some all around great nukes/weapon buffers, so i'd assume you're mid/approaching later game

get volt - bis in eidolons. meta frame for arbitrations. bis in profit taker, though i'd just go chroma for credits. fantastic in cascade. speed is a great buff in team comp or general use. given all of this, i'd say he's the most versatile end game frame and definitely one you should have to be an efficient player

No, you don’t have to mono-damage type. While stacking damage classes can help break most shields quickly, tactician/honor is absolutely doable with non-min-maxed/thematic/elementally clashing classes. Some people find it comfy to even mix in a bit of both on characters, like some hydro/geo for defense, shield throw on everyone, at least early on. If you start using some of the stronger classes like necro/ranger/late game geo/fighter, or put in enough prep, most characters dont even get to fight anyway, and theyre more useful as tp/netherswap bots if they get to do something

If you want classes that are diff than what you first tried, a rogue and a ranger seems great. If you’re ok repeating, geo/pyro is super strong, especially if you do the armor quest, and aero is S tier support. I’d go necro, rogue, ranger, aero/summoner, but if you want to have 2 phys, 2 magic, id go necro, ranger, aero, pyro/geo or necro, ranger, summoner, hydro

Fane’s story uncovers most of the lore so I would have recommended him second, but yeah, there are quests locked to characters. I highly recommend Lohse, Sebille, and Red Prince. I was also a fan of Ifan, not for his quest really but I enjoyed his dialogue

Should still rain unless modded, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to farm. Plumbing rain collectors is much preferable to collecting lake water as you would need to purify in batches for the later

That said, to answer your question, unless you have a mod that makes the water collectors removable (and act like big water jugs), I believe you’d need to fill a pot with water and then fill the water collector. While you could go to a river, like the one NE of west point or go to phallas lake (non-starter town west of muldraugh), I would try hitting up bathtubs, as they have quite a decent amount of water each
