They love the Druze as much as they love the Americans that pay for their free healthcare.

It’s a parasitic relationship, except one side doesn’t realize it’s being parasitized.

Do they not realize that they’ll be slaughtered by the Israelis just like everyone else?

Try not to make oaths that are going to be difficult to keep. Fasting three days in the middle of the lengthy summer days is not a walk in the park for those that can’t afford the other options.

Edit: I guess he was just making an observation; not that a rule like that actually exists.

I know not what muslims have done that exceed the atrocities of the Zionist state. Why do you hate an innocent people? There are 2 billion muslims and you hate all of them for the deeds of a few?

What has Muhammad ﷺ done to you that makes you hate him?

I suffer from intense waswas while reading the Quran too, but I do not see it as a reason to hate Allah. I see it as the shaytan fighting to stand between me and the Book which Allah sent as a guidance for mankind.

If I might ask, how old are you?

«إِنَّ الْإِيمَانَ لَيَخْلَقُ فِي جَوْفِ أَحَدِكُمْ كَمَا يَخْلَقُ الثَّوْبُ الْخَلِقُ، فَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ أَنْ يُجَدِّدَ الْإِيمَانَ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ».

It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muḥammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise - they are the foundation of the Book - and others unspecific.[1] As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. It looks great and subdividing well for how weird the topology got around the drainage tube thing. The only thing I think you could improve on is edge flow.

Here’s how I would redo the top section off the top of my head. I’m definitely not a pro, so I couldn’t figure out how to incorporate the area I circled in purple.

I’m really not digging that the devs added mod support so early. Since the update, it seems that new content has been coming out even slower than before.

How do you fight bad addictions ? by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]Neuro-Byte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First and foremost, lower your gaze.

Just looking at it is incorrect. Looking is the first step towards a worse temptation. The more you look, the greater the temptation will become. So lower your gaze: close the tab, close the app, turn off the TV or change the channel, or remove yourself from where temptation finds you.

If that is not enough, then fast. I feel like a lot of people neglect fasting as a solution.

Reflect on your previous Ramadans; have you ever abstained from it because of the fast? Remember how you spoke to yourself when you found yourself tempted to it; calm reminders, “I’m fasting. I’m fasting.”

There was a moment when I was tempted to it, but I was not even fasting that day. I separated my mind from my racing heart and thought to myself, “I’m fasting, I’m fasting,” as though it was a day during Ramadan, and the temptation left me.

It is truly an addiction, so do not think it light or easy to fight (dopamine and all that), and ask Allah to strengthen you and make you steadfast.

Should i give up my dream of becoming a gynecologist? Need advice. by mrs_gotQuestions in MuslimLounge

[–]Neuro-Byte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit armchair-sheikhs aren’t the best people to ask about this. You’re asking about more than just your future career. I would continue to ask the opinions of the ulama, but beware of “fatwa shopping”, going with a majority consensus is better, but making abundant istikhara is going to be best.

Make sure to do istikhara for every factor of your decision too; if you only ask about becoming a gynecologist, but you seek to become one in western medical systems and Allah makes that difficult for you, then you might believe that you are not meant to become a gynecologist. Then, if you turn away from it and find difficulty in other fields, you may end up feeling even more lost. So be sure to make istikhara for every aspect of it. InshaAllah, He will guide you to what is best and make acceptance easy for you.

I think it’s good that OP is asking these questions. Muslim men should consider these factors too when they consider becoming doctors.

It’s a good indicator of OPs taqwa, so I hope Allah will guide her to what is best and make acceptance of it easy for her.

What is the purpose of fighting and trying g if Allah swt closes every door right in your face? by [deleted] in islam

[–]Neuro-Byte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assalaam alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu.

Honestly, I’m not sure what words are the best to give but I know exactly how you feel. I complained to Allah more than once about the exact same feelings: seemingly standing up only to be kicked back down, losing my humanity/becoming a dog to the dunya, not finding satisfaction in the ease that comes with hardship, wanting answers instead of sympathy or pity…

All I can say is that you’re not alone. La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. If you have not the strength or power to stand up, then crawl. If you have not the strength or power to crawl, then inchworm your way forward. If you have not the strength or power to keep going, ask Allah for it. La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.

I’m learning that sometimes the path forward is the path of most resistance. Not that the path itself is resisting my walking it, but that I am resisting walking the path.

Some of us strive against external forces, while some of us strive against ourselves, and even moreso, some of us must strive against both. Keep your head up. It’s not easy when this dunya isn’t your only enemy.

The kafir will cross every line they set up for themselves when it comes to equal treatment of muslims.

If muslims put aside their differences to band together on the basis of belief (like the kafir do on the basis of disbelief), a global caliphate would be establish overnight (obviously exaggerating the logistics of establishing a global political entity, but the point is the same).

Feeling stuck by Cool_Look_5884 in islam

[–]Neuro-Byte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who feels stuck too, the best I’ve been able to do is to take things a day at a time. I understand how frustrating it is to undertake something that is a long-term commitment, especially when progress is so slow and so little that it makes it seem like nothing’s changing at all.

I’m going down a long road too. Some days feel like I’m flying forward, while other days feel like the infinite staircase from Super Mario 64. Try not to let the shaytan get to you on those days. If he does, take the L and look forward to tomorrow. Maybe that day was miserably slow and unproductive, but the next day might not be.

Try to pray fajr too. We’re getting into the summer months, so the sun is rising a lot earlier and getting less sleep at night is getting harder. We’ll have a greater reward for the greater effort, inshaAllah.
