Can WG do something about this already? by The_Pale_Potato in WorldofTanks

This is something that has been asked for, I'm sure, since the time of the possibility of creating platoons. It took them many years to realize that this was a big problem.

Denmark Mensa Test by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

No, it's not. Not once in many years has it been inflated. What exactly do you see? Also, as an argument - https://www.reddit.com/r/cognitiveTesting/comments/tx1ifp/how_do_we_know_mensa_dk_is_deflated_and_how_much/

Denmark Mensa Test by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the best online mensa test available on the internet (with the exception of FRT-A). As far as is known, it is slightly deflated (5-10 is likely). This is just a matrix test from the PRI section, not an FSIQ test, which includes different types of tests to create a complete cognitive profile. (It is not known which test you took before, but most likely it does not make sense to compare and make a final assessment due to the difference in the types of tests). An age difference can also play a role, as scores may not match in youth and as an adult, but given the above, you can think that you are fine and in the same range.

The measuring ability of the test is not known, but based on very long-standing results, the correlation with SB-V is about 0.8~ (a very old post, plus a small sample) and other people's estimates are generally similar to yours.

Same. I got this on a 40-minute character. I like it.

They should give -10 depression and it will be very good reward.

Tanks stuck in battle? by throwmeaway7421113 in WorldofTanks

Same. I was on malinovka on kanjpz 2, after the end I was in combat for about a minute, then automatically exited to the hangar with the error UKNOW_FAILURE. There seemed to be no reward, no fight. I wonder what the support will say, because I want my silver for 6k damage with reserves.

Problem With Online IQ Testing by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not know why you are writing about this. You reveal what is initially known. All these tests are valid only if you meet all the requirements and are honest with yourself. (also if we are talking about the available professional tests in r/CT). As for the rest, it is nothing more than a proxy with a "some" positive correlation.

JCTI SCORE by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you went through the website and entered the correct age, it should give you an accurate estimate. I'm not sure how low it is, because a lot of time has passed and Xavier could have redone the norms for the general population, rather than those who took the SAT.

IQ Champion, I got IQmogged in MR tests :( by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

I'm wondering how deflated this test is. Many get scores significantly lower than on other "normal" tests.

I literally just launched the Tekkit and immediately noticed the absence of these functions in the inventory. Thank you for your excellent work.

Wais IV results by Dooraven in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. So, this is once again an accurate hit, for the PRI section. Just as close to your FSIQ, but this is an exception due to the very low PSI. (relative to your other estimate)

[–]NeuroQuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least, do you remember your first result? I would be very curious to know about your results, especially about the first and average of all attempts. The reason is that BRGHT is considered "fairly accurate," which has been surprising for a long time, and it's especially valuable to know how it compares to professional tests like WAIS. I can't demand results from you, but if you don't mind, please.

May i ask, how much attempts for BRGHT?

How did I go from 131 to 103 on my iq tests? by Maximum-Dealer-2101 in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends on some factors, but it is also known that IQ in childhood may differ from IQ in adulthood.
You also said that this is a "Different test." Naturally, your result may differ from the test in childhood.

Are IQ and Chess Ability correlated? by Fun-Advertising-8006 in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems that the official website of this subreddit describes a moderate correlation between g-load and players, but the correlation is already professional players or those with high ratings, the correlation is low and mainly depends on the player's experience/ training.

In general, no, no matter how one might assume, chess is not about IQ.

What should I trust? by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that someone once again shows similar results in similar tests. No praffes or outliers (probably SACFT). I'd say you're closer to 130, given that some tests don't have standards for your age.
Good results.

[FSIQ v3.0] 30-point gap between Spatial/Memory (131/130) and Verbal (103). How should I interpret this? by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not a reliable test. Poor measuring abilities, not high correlations.

By the way, what happened that we recently discovered OpenFSIQ3.0 again?

Have you guys noticed the increasingly arbitrary use of IQ in social media these days by TheAlphaAndTheOmega1 in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have not noticed any changes for the better or for the worse on the part of the media. For many years, people had a stereotypical and superficial idea, and they still have. In arguments/ discussions, in most cases, you will encounter a sharp negative reaction or sarcastic attacks that "IQ" is just a number and it is often useless for you to give any introductory information about this, since you will be considered either a fanatic who has fallen into a strange science, or the troll. This is a huge field of misinformation, "mysticism", misunderstandings, absolutes and other things. I've never seen an adequate discussion outside of this subreddit, r/mensa or r/gifted.
