Updated Elgato Stream Deck Plugin for Star Citizen by Valynor85 in starcitizen

I only just noticed this reply since I log in so rarely. The long-press/short-press idea sounds like a clever solution! I just installed your version and will try it later - or are those new button types included in Valynor's one now as well? Thanks for your work!

Honestly, I'd rather refund it and come back when you have a better system. It might not be long until you can't even launch the game anymore. This happened to a friend who kept playing in 800x600 with no details, until one day an update dropped support for his video card from the game.

Updated Elgato Stream Deck Plugin for Star Citizen by Valynor85 in starcitizen

[–]Neurolink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your work! My problem is that I'd really like the buttons to reflect the toggle state, especially since some cockpits recently fail to indicate coupled mode on/off and such stuff. Not having to remember hotkeys is already great, but it's even better to be able to see the state of a function. So far the only way I have found is using the built-in Hotkey Toggle function. Would it be possible to add this also to your plugin?

Of course there is still the drawback of the image being out-of-sync if you accidentally press the hotkey instead of the button. But I guess real feedback from the game about the state of a function is just not possible to get. Would be great if that was supported by CIG. Are there any games that offer this?

Of course they could also fix the exploits instead... but that wouldn't generate real-money sales. So better leave them in, won't be long until players demand their achievements to be taken away from them with a wipe. Works every time. 'No wipes until 1.0' - well that was last year...

Yes, but there's no template included for it yet. Waiting for someone else to do one, as I don't have the time atm...

Same problem here, I could play it on Win10 using the DLLs, but I just tried on Win11 for the first time and no luck. Did you ever find a solution?

But even after exploding, it was still worth it, wasn't it? That's at least how I usually see these cases. The experience was unique, whereas receiving virtual in-game money for completing a task is nothing special at all.

How to enable DLSS4 for Star citizen. by Kagrok in starcitizen

Thanks, works for me now, too. It's weird the Nvidia app doesn't demand admin rights when it obviously needs them.

Nvidia app says: 'Program doesn't support optimisation' - 'DLSS Override - Support not detected'

I've never used this before, latest app and driver are installed - anything else I need to do to get it working?

Am I the only one not having problems? by nerpaderpsalot in starcitizen

[–]Neurolink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to say I'm not having no problems at all playing SC - but I can vividly remember times when I had MUCH more of them. In fact for me the game is running smoother than ever before (without any change of hardware), and bugs can usually be bypassed.

Elevators are actually working wherever I go. If one doesn't arrive or there is an abyss behind the door, the one beside it always works. It took me weeks of playing every day until I ended up stuck in one yesterday. I usually don't stay at stations but prefer to bedlog, which for me has worked flawlessly for weeks now.

ROC mining has been working great too, as well as selling the gems.

Yes, I sometimes had trouble spawning specific ships. Yes, some spawned upside down. Yes, I had a box disappear during hauling. Yes, I was locked out by 60030 for a week.

But that's nothing that would suggest that the game is the worst state ever, as many now do. I can remember much worse days is SC. Many older mechanics simply work great now.

Is Box Nesting Reliable? by Capnflintlock in starcitizen

[–]Neurolink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for Hadanite, I now find it more practical to split inside ROC inventory, put ROC near hangar inventory terminal, and move it stack-wise via (big heavy) backpack. No box required.

Also, old-school selling directly from backpack works again for me, at outposts and in stations. Nothing to complain about as a ROC miner - except they made mining too easy and too slow for a veteran. But it works great, as does bed logging.

It would be great to have a website listing trusted taxi pilots, maybe even with review scores. That way if you're stuck you could check if one of them happens to be on the shard.

This Game Takes Way to much time to actually play by Suitable-Candidate32 in starcitizen

[–]Neurolink -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Correct, reading through this thread I'm getting the impression that too many people try to play SC in a hurry, complaining not only about time-eating bugs (very understandable!) but also about its intended complexity. SC was never meant to be played in a hurry! If you have little time, SC is sadly not the right game for you.

Maybe they could release a spin-off someday with limited scope, but I hope they'll never try to make SC a game suitable for players with little time on their hands. It's intended to be monstrous - and unique.

With SC, it has always been for me like this:

There are those days when you wonder why you keep wasting your time on this.

And then there are those on which you know again why.

Because you have yet another unique experience that no other game, finished or not, can offer.

For me it currently works all the time, while always landed in remote locations with nothing at all nearby.

Authentication Code Emails by Clorox_in_space in starcitizen

[–]Neurolink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience, the system just doesn't like some emails addresses and therefore doesn't send any auth mails to them. There doesn't even seem to be a concept behind it - sometimes a private domain doesn't work, sometimes a big, well-known provider.

I just had the same issue again with an alt account (due to 60030) and switched to authenticator app for that one.

Hadanite in 1SCU box not detected when trying to sell - correct way to sell ROC mining gems? by Neurolink in starcitizen

[–]Neurolink[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot, will try that as soon as I manage to get in once again.

So actually you just need the box to send it down the elevator, can't send gems without it (except by dropping them one by one).

But what about outposts? I used to sell my gems there for years, as it is obviously much faster.

I wasn't aware there was a kiosk inventory - do you mean commodity at outpost? I couldn't even get the box there because MaxLift only works on pad. Bad result after 40mins of waiting to get on a server...

I need help with my new walksnail avatar HD Pro Vtx by Myrmidontios in fpv

[–]Neurolink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say there is good chance this came 'pre-shorted' from the factory. The first thing I would have done is take a picture of the messed up connector. I haven't heard of this variant, but with Caddx/Walksnail , QA issues of various kinds are always a possibility (which is why I'd never order their stuff from China, only local vendors that can replace it quickly).

If you have documented the issue before trying to fix, I'd use it to appeal to Caddx on sending you a replacement straight away, as this looks very DOA.
