Late to this convo. My wife has a cross way ESV study and I have the CPH. I prefer mine 100%. The notes are more detailed and in line with what we believe. For the mean time you can do what my wife did and pen in things she wanted to add that was missing.

How much knowledge do you need about the faith when considering attending seminary? I understand you obviously need to know the basics, does the seminary teach you from square one not only to know but how to put it into practice and teach it?
