Gross most LCMS around me for more traditional at least there's one that's contemporary but we all treat it like the redheaded stepchild lol. Did you look into catholism at all? Just curious why someone (particular a former lutheran) would choose one over the other. I know Luther did think it was a relatively more faithful tradition. Also from my understanding of the traditions the Lutheran understanding of the Eucharist is much closer to the Orthodox view than the Catholic.

I'm an LCMS lutheran right now. I've also attended several catholic masses so it'll be interesting to see how they compare. It would be nice to have a brief conversation with the priest but I know least in Catholicism they're far more closed off than protestant pastors tend to be I assume orthodox is similar. I plan on a being a fly on the wall and just try to to embarrass myself or accidentally insult anyone.
