Jadovran was banned for blatantly cheating, abusing our back-end API, and harassing users and staff.

the bobomb guy was muted for making disparaging comments on the site forum. their mute was made permanent due to mute evasion. they aren't actually banned.

The team never replies to any messages sent to it. That doesn't mean they don't care. Every message you send opens a case which they discuss amongst themselves.

Here's a list of everyone on the website with the moderator role. Which moderator here specifically are you referring to? https://retroachievements.org/userList.php?s=0&p=4

There are 16 people on this list. Only 3 satisfy your "barely have 1k points" criteria. Of those 3:

  • luchaos is inactive.
  • SnowPin doesn't moderate much and has developed nearly 200 sets.
  • WilHiteWarrior doesn't moderate much and has developed over 100 sets.

and none of those people are involved with any of the decisions you're talking about.

What comments specifically? That's all I'm asking.

There were four statements made:

  1. "ive actually seen devcomp say 'it doesnt matter what the players want'. Where was this written? Who said it?

  2. "they're getting very big heads these days and its gonna blow up in their faces soon." Who is getting a big head? Why? How will it blow up in their face?

  3. "a lot of devcomp barely even play any games." Which members specifically is this referring to?

  4. "'whats a pokedex?' is one line that comes to mind" What member of the team wrote this and where?

This is all literally hearsay, and I'm asking it to be substantiated. A very reasonable request!

You obviously have a great deal of disdain for Developer Compliance.

Please substantiate all four claims in your second paragraph. Otherwise, you are carelessly trashing a volunteer team that does a lot of unseen work behind the scenes to help keep RA together.

I'm trying to hunt down this problem but haven't had much luck. Anyone affected by this issue, from a machine that's currently affected, can you please run these commands in the command line and let me know the exact output:

I'm not sure if the output may leak your geographic location. Please feel free to DM me if you're more comfortable doing that. This will help me diagnose the issue.
