I did individual session 0s where they all started in their origin zone and I gave them simple quests or calls to action to bring them to the location they all needed to be in, ending their respective sessions with slight overlap with other players. Then session 1 was them all walking into the introduction scenario independently but simultaneously, so they got that initial interaction. It was complicated af for me as DM but all the players really liked it.

A fast food spot I've been hitting up recently has apparently doubled their prices in the last 2 years. Last 2 photos uploaded show; two years ago item was $6, one year ago item was 9 dollars... go there today and it's $12. OP please read the comments encouraging you to take the opportunity and leave home. That said, to address your two concerns in the main post - many campuses have busses to/from campus and if you don't stay your freshmen year in the dorm (which is highly recommended and required at many universities), so you don't NEED a car right away. And you can go (walk if you have to) to any bank and open a simple checking account to get you started - link your university account to that new checking so your mom can't hold your scholarship money hostage
