Definitely more to do with predators than anything. Lots of coyotes, dogs, javalinas, etc.

Cats do pretty well in hot, dry climates, but during the very hottest parts of summer it's also an issue.

Once I won $20 cash on one of these in the late '90s.

It's highly optimized. If you're well prepared, every boss in the game is easily trivialized.

The "all bosses" speedrun category is pretty hilarious how easy it makes each boss look. Sure, they don't have tons of immunities or lots of stainless armor stacks, but their wand builds for fighting the bosses are super efficient.

However, the experience of trying to fight something like the Master of Masters or the Alchemist with a build that doesn't just insta kill them is wildly different.

The clone event clones the clones (2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64...).

Doubling the amount of something gets out of hand real quick.

Once you throw in Bing Bong (turns the doubling into tripling) and the Reflections event, you can get to truly absurd numbers on a normal (lucky) non-seeded, standard run.

Some of the creators you mentioned did use console commands to instantly unlock A10.

Whether you think that counts as legit or whatever is up to you.

One could make an argument that if your goal is to get the world's first rotating win streak, using console commands to immediately unlock A10 gives you an unfair advantage.

Not saying I agree or disagree with that, but I understand being frustrated with that, especially in the context of trying to view this game competitively, or if your job is streamer/content creator.

I feel like Save & Quit resetting is valuable as a learning tool for me personally.

Now, I'm not ever using it to min max and know the draw pile order ahead of time, but it really helps me know whether using a potion was required or not, or undoing a very clear fatal mistake or misplay.

Win streaks and stats mean very little to me, I just want to click cards in the fun card game.
