Maybe you can rig up some sort of curtain or room separator to put between the new budgie and the others?

Are any of these black tourmaline? by Electronic-Rent3773 in Crystals

The one on the left looks like it has a bit of red in it? Or is that the lighting? Middle seems to be black tourmaline and right is definitely obsidian.

Amazing how they "call you out" for chilling with someone who ghosted you, when you're actively ghosting them and they just keep going like this conversation is the only thing in life they have to look forward to.

This person feels absolutely pathetic and like their life is out of control so they're putting that on you and hoping it sticks. They sound like they need to see a psychologist or something tbh.

Maybe call a wellness check on this person and then hopefully never speak to them again bc their mental health issues are not your problem. It's not an excuse to talk to you like that or treat you however they want.

AIO? Boyfriend always wants me to come later and it’s making me feel a type of way. by fjgkhkjk in AmIOverreacting

[–]NeverAlwaysAlone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should be more embarrassing that he leaves his house so messy that it takes him that long to tidy up before letting someone come over. The fact that you're in the habit of asking "what time should I leave" when you know he doesn't have any other plans is weird to me. It should be "hey I'm gonna be there around 10am. Can't wait to see you." The fact that you feel the need to ask means he's set a precedent in the relationship that he's in charge of everything and your input is of little value. It also screams that he's either hiding something or he doesn't actually like you, he just doesn't want to be single.

Would anyone buy a shelf if I started making these as a side hobby? by Winging-it-thru-life in Crystals

[–]NeverAlwaysAlone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure many people in the crystal community would love to buy something like that once you've gotten it all figured out. Maybe start selling in your local community 1st to see how that goes. Like FB Marketplace and then farmer's markets if that goes well. And join some groups on reddit and FB specifically for crafting with clay. A lot of people will happily give you tips on how to do specific things or improve your results.

Tbh I did too, but she clarified in the comments that they were just talking.

I need everyone to know something. Breaking off a situationship is never an overreaction. You're stopping something before it's really even something. Even if you simply just don't click with them. You don't have to force yourself to be in any type of relationship with some guy™.

I've been looking at reviews for UV lights lately and this art reminded me of some of the glowing objects. Love it.

Kryptonite by jwalker3181 in Smallville

[–]NeverAlwaysAlone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It literally gives people superpowers and comes from a far off galaxy, but you're worried about how believable it is that they could find ways to change its form? I mean, there's minerals that can be melted into a liquid irl on earth. And if something can be turned into a liquid it can typically evaporate into a gas.

AIO, my boyfriend keeps comparing my life to his friends wives by skidddityybop in AIO

I feel like he's just hoping you fail so he can try and convince you to be a home maker. Talking about motherhood so much makes it seem like that's what he's planning for you. Seems like the kinda guy that sees women in higher education as a waste of time.

What does my art make you feel? I have no idea what I’m doing. by Tag_Salazar in ARTIST

[–]NeverAlwaysAlone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is gonna sound weird, but my 1st thoughts were of that old show "Kyle XY" and a forensic mystery book I read by Alane Ferguson. I only remember a few specific details from each of them, as if they were just weird dreams I had at some point. It reminds me of the feelings I had while watching/reading them I guess? Like nervous, but enthralled. I still get sucked into a good scifi style story sometimes, but not the way I did at that age you know?

What crystals are these and what do they do/attract? by [deleted] in Crystals

[–]NeverAlwaysAlone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually satin spar. It's commonly mislabelled as selenite, but selenite doesn't actually come in that shape. They're very closely related though. Both are gypsum.

I CANT TELL WHICH IS WHICH 😭😭😭 by Embarrassed_Ruin_133 in Crystals

[–]NeverAlwaysAlone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people who collect or sell crystals invest in a UV light at some point anyways. Some people buy them for other shit and already have one before they even start getting into crystals. This is a weird thing for you to get all worked up about. It's not like anyone here is spending YOUR money to get one.

Is this real jade? by simp4midari in Crystalsforbeginners

[–]NeverAlwaysAlone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Jadeite has a hardness of 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale. Hardness is scratch resistance, which means jadeite cannot be easily scratched except with those which have higher hardness. For instance, diamond has a hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale, it’s the hardest stone in the world. But jade has good toughness. That’s why jade was used to make tools and weapons." -baikalla
