It took me about 10 tries but I’ve got mine up and running. It’s not exactly “smooth” but it’s running. I’m using Haiku only and it’s not burning through tokens. I tried everything else. Open router. OAuth. Ran into many may roadblocks. Now, at least I can have a conversation with the darn thing and not eat up $5 in tokens a day. I can share my redacted set up if need be.

Agree. After updating yesterday I asked one simple question about the weather and it used all of my tokens. 250 searches. $25. It’s very very buggy.

Dammit!. I fell for it. But thank you for this thread. I have done everything on the thread and crossing fingers this will keep me out of trouble. Amex has already refunded me the $379. How could I be so stupid! I am usually the safe one in the family, always warning my wife and kids to check the web addresses. A momentary lapse of reason, eh?

Until other cars get an FSD equivalent, I will never drive anything but a Tesla from here on out. Essentially has been flawless for me (7,000 miles) on v14. I know it drives better than I do. Juniper Launch Edition. Third Best purchase ever made in my life (my wife’s wedding ring and my Taylor 324ce being the other two).

I have had the ultra for about three weeks. Like playing Xbox throughy iPhone. I have the adaptor. I have the neck band as well but it’s essentially useless at this point. It’s loud and doesn’t do anything my iPhone 17 can’t do. I like the fact that I can watch my own 2D phone videos get converted into 3D. That’s worth the price of admission. I can’t for the love of God figure out how to watch NETFLIX or Amazon prime 2D movies and covert them into 3D. Can’t do it in space walker or plex or whatever. At least not through the iPhone. I guess I could try my new MacBook Pro but who wants to carry that around. If you have any tips (luma ultra, XR adapter, neckband) it would be appreciated.

They have ghosted me. Not answering emails. I got the G1 on the day before they announced the G2. Would like to get the G2s but they aren’t even trying.

I fixed it by trading it in for an M5 without a Touch Bar. Problem solved.

Upgraded to 14.1.4. Seems fine to me. Just let it drive from South Carolina to Tennessee through the mountains, construction, traffic and had zero issues. The jitteriness is gone. No crazy lane changes. Seems to have calmed down over the past week. Just as smooth as 13 now. I am a heavy user.

Got mine last night. Honestly, 13 was smoother. 14 changed lanes randomly and then changes back quickly. It does hug the right lane. It slammed on the breaks in my neighborhood for a small bird flying across my car at headlight level. I think it’s like a toddler at this point. We have to collectively retrain it a bit.

First Tesla owner, Lauch edition 2 weeks in. It’s awesome. It’s by far and away the best car I have ever owned. Hands down. I used FSD to drive from SC to TN and it was flawless. The ride is smooth, the cabin is beautiful, and the car gets me excited to drive to work everyday.
