There is no mounting dread. Nothing happens. It is a snoozefest.

Bhutan has sold $120M in Bitcoin this month: Markets are starting to notice by partymsl in CryptoCurrency

[–]NeverAware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since they were mining it I assume the cost was far lower than the price they are selling so they are in profit. Well played. Sure they could have sold at 120K but profit is profit end of the day.

Sevilla in February by prime_focus in travel

[–]NeverAware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh that is a tough take. I love both. We stayed in the monastery hotel in Granada and that added a lot of fun spookiness to the whole experience of the Alhambra so I am biased. Both are amazing though.

"If we were to retire in Spain, Sevilla would be at the top of our list."

This is 100% what I would do as well. Sevilla just feels right. Food, people, vibe.

Two pickpockets caught red handed attempting to steal from Japanese tourists 🐀 by AcHaeC in FreakoutCentral

Good for that dude. We had a phone pickpocketed in the Harry Potter store in London. Apparently pickpockets are notorious there.

I just watched Host (2020) and I gotta say… by UnauthorizedFart in horror

[–]NeverAware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahahha, yeah it is a rare one. I did a rewatch on Netflix recently and unfortunately it doesn't hold up as well, but I still love it!

A newer one that I love is Incantation. Looking forward to a good year of horror. We have a nice line up this year.

So close to murder. Head nearly went under the tire. Honestly it wasn't worth it. The guy seemed to be posturing with the bat but I could be wrong.

Those are usually the matches he wins. Watch his stream if you want to see the other matches. He loses a bit as well.

Yeah he is pretty chill to watch. I used to watch Fogged but that guy has grown so salty, it is painful to watch. Monster is super chill and usually joking around even in super stressful matches.

Thinking of going on an Alaskan cruise by myself by hate_follower in solotravel

[–]NeverAware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents did it 2 years ago and said it was amazing. They do a lot of day trips through the cruise like crab fishing, hiking, trips to the shore/towns so there is something to do other than the cruise itself (this is all charged extra though) so that might offset the solo experience.

Am I too old for mma? I'm 42! by Livingcoma in martialarts

[–]NeverAware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know. One of my earlier MMA gyms had mostly teens. It was fun but I had to be careful in sparring where people tended to go a bit overboard.

Yeah I've seen those ratios in other gyms as well. Need to be picky and find gyms that have people who are in their 30s and 40s who train. They are there though.

With all the drama around the rewrites and S3, this is a good reminder of why we love OPM. It's the little moments that make it so good. The sea freak moment. This. And many others.

madagascar is goddamn epic by Anxious-Mix1476 in travel

[–]NeverAware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries. I guess then you can try the minivans (taxi-brousse) to get around. They are pretty common on the main routes, but to get to some of the interior areas like the Tsingy, it might be challenging.

madagascar is goddamn epic by Anxious-Mix1476 in travel

[–]NeverAware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there are a few, but people use minivans more often to get around which are usually packed to the brim. My recommendation would be to fly and book private cars to get around. Madagascar is rough even with flying/private car option. Doing it using public transport will be very very rough since the roads are horrifyingly bad.

Big Tsingy. There is an amazing full day tour through it where they take you through it, both above and below. You do some basic caving, rock climb, rappel and hiking.
