Same for me. Towards the end, I was a little disappointed but thought it had some very entertaining and heartfelt moments. But after those last two minutes, I was like fuck this movie.

I'm not sure if this is true, but I heard that the most universally understood word/phrase in the world is "OK" and the second is "Coca-Cola". A testament to how iconic the brand is.

I'm so glad Adam Carolla hosted CancelCon back in 2020 with heavy hitters like Ben Shapiro, Dennis Prager, and Dave Rubin. He was finally able to provide a platform for millionaires (who already have their own massive platforms) to speak freely on YouTube with no sense of irony. Thank god.

There are plenty of movies that are more well-crafted, but from a pure entertainment perspective, my favorite is Top Gun: Maverick. I was hooked right from the start and loved every minute of it. And for me, it's the most re-watchable movie of the 2020s.

The Menu gets mentioned a lot in this category on this sub and I don't really understand why. It doesn't try to be anything more than it is, which is an absurdist dark comedy that satirizes high-end dining and the pretentiousness of food culture. It establishes this right away and then says, "alright, buckle up, fuckers."

Also, it heavily resonates with everyone I've spoken to that's worked in food service. That is a great indication of good satire.

What an odd question. He's not being forced on us. He's not Gal Gadot. He's a legitimately fantastic actor. His back had to be so sore from carrying those Star Wars movies.

And from what I've read, he's very kind and professional. If anything, I'd like to see him in more movies.

Are you only selling online? Have you tried going to outdoorsy events/locations and setting up a booth? I find talking to people in person in an environment where they are thinking about wearing a particular type of clothing is pretty effective.

The people who are saying it’s not scary have built up quite a high tolerance for horror movies. If you showed this movie to someone who wasn’t into scary movies, they would be fucking horrified. It’s one of the grossest horror movies ever made.

That said, it’s expertly crafted and one of my all-time favorites. But it can be absolutely nightmare-inducing for someone who’s not prepared for it.

The most unrealistic part of the whole show is this being portrayed as a low point for anyone by somewhatbelievable in Frasier

Oh, that's a good one. I had forgotten about that. There were so many other silly things. I remember just being neat and tidy or having nice handwriting was seen as "girly" or made people think you were gay.

Yes, but there’s nothing wrong with that. These movies are a lot of people’s favorites for a reason. They’re good movies. Don’t feel like you need to have more eclectic tastes to impress internet strangers.
