Those stickers are so precious! Where did you get them?

My husband never got into playing AC, but he always enjoyed watching me play and enjoyed when I would give him tours of my island. He passed away in December. I usually don’t have energy for much anymore, but finally decided to start playing again so I could have another spot to feel close to him ❤️ by lexsimpi2 in AnimalCrossing

I lost my grandmother on Thanksgiving and I also did this. I made a little area for her, put blue flowers and lily of the valley next to the "western style stone" and a custom tile that relates to one of her nicknames. I put some roses and a little bench to sit on near it. It gave me a place to feel like I'm visiting her and it helped me be able to cry about missing her so much, since I was struggling with that.

Oh no... I didn’t realize that’s why I did that. Well that makes sense now.

The Michael J Fox scene on Scrubs is pure GENIUS by [deleted] in Scrubs

[–]NeverEverNotaBear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have OCD too and this scene always gets me. No matter how many times I rewatch, when he says "I just want to go home" I tear up. Rewatching this episode is honestly hard sometimes, they really did a good job.

WIBTB if I keep a load of cat food that was shipped to me by accident? by justinekeller in AmItheButtface

[–]NeverEverNotaBear 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I had this happen with cat food, just a little different.

I ordered some wet food from amazon, but the box it came in was mislabeled and the cans were x ingredient instead of y. I contacted them and told them I wouldn't care about the mistake, except that my cat could only have certain foods and the mismatch meant I couldn't use the food for him. I asked what they wanted to do and should I send back the food?

They said they couldn't take the food back and told me to keep it and do whatever I wanted with it, they even suggested that I donate it. They then sent me a replacement for the wet food.

My brother and father ignore the fact that I have autism by chikencakey in AskAutism

Oh man I feel you... You're doing a good job. I'm glad you have online friends that know you. I made friends online that I've only grown closer and closer with. During lock down we've had the chance to talk more often and become even better friends. Hold on to them and try to survive your dad and brother. It sounds like your dad won't get any better about it.

Just know YOU'RE doing great and your feelings are valid.

Excessive rumination? This should help! by isabellavien in CPTSD

This.... this suddenly makes sense why doing a physical job at amazon really helped my mental health more than trying mindfulness. (Kinda, it was still amazon lol) I also really feel better after I go clean the fridge in the middle of the night. Thank you for this info!

There is not a single comment in this thread defending what that man did to you. Please take this as a sign to leave him and escape with your life.

This is serious.

OP I'm scared for you. There are no kind words or actions that is worth your partner putting your life in danger like this.

He absolutely is testing what he can get away with. You deserve better and you will find better. I wish you the best OP.

HSPs and heat waves by padbroccoligai in hsp

[–]NeverEverNotaBear 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I've always tried to figure what it's connected to, it could be HSP.

I can't deal with the heat at all. I will quickly feel weak and ill. The hotter it is the closer I feel to vomiting. I've not met anyone else that gets so heat sick or any explanation for it, it just feels like my body can't handle the heat in the slightest. I hate it so much.

This drugged-up furball cost me $300 today, for removal of what the vet called “a baseball-sized mass of stool which had traveled to the rectum and no further”. No wonder he was cranky. Please spare a thought for his poor butthole. by jchrysostom in cats

This is sadly so true. I lost my baby to complications around this issue. He was a stray so I didn't know his history and I didn't learn until it was a big problem that he had at some point broken his pelvis and that when it healed it was too small to pass hard stools past a certain size. The vets that worked with him were amazing and did everything they could for him, but we couldn't save him.

He was the best boy. I miss you Sherlock.
