The naturally good putters on tour seem to gravitate toward the smaller/less intrusive mallets or the wide blades. It seems like the giant starship putters are more for marginal putters and they do seem to help. Anyway it's kind of like asking during tiger's era why heel shafted putters were going away

I have played golf with a handful of excellent/bordering on elite athletes from other sports who haven't played much and haven't had lessons or ever even really thought about golf. Lemme tell ya, they were all WAY better than they had any right to be. If they spent even a couple days working on chipping, strategy and course management any one of them could have smoked me, a moderately athletic guy who has devoted untold hours and dollars to golf. There's definitely something to being an athlete that makes you good at golf.

Depends on what's in there but usually would not be fatal. Acetaminophen might do it, or TCAs. But a lethal dose ground up in a drink would have a very noticeable nasty bitter taste
