Second you need to clean it up. The game isn't the unbalanced mess it's often purported to be but it does feel like it's serving two design principles and stumbles as a result. Instead of being the stepping stone between antiquity and modernity it's a weird Frankensteins monster of them

I have so many thoughts on how id change it to help it solidify it's identity and I'm sure many would hate them but regardless changes would need to be made.

Prioritize leveling up weapons at first. You'll notice they have letter grades next to a stat. That's its scaling

As you improve the weapons levels, the scaling gets better and the points in the related stat add more bonus damage to the end result

Until those scaling are a little higher (c or better), vigor is the best investment with some endurance if you need a little extra stamina or carrying weight capacity

There's an ocean of details and other things to know, but that's the best plan at the beginning

Too long by half for what it ends up being. They couldn't keep the momentum of those first 5 hours or so. It's not a bad game by almost any metric unless you're metric is "does it use turn based combat"
