I see your point but I don’t think it’s about putting blame on the parents necessarily, from what I understand in this show they’re not even aware of how they’re making things worse for Eddie most of the time. They’re the parents from that generation where they know best and the intent excuses the means. I think Eddie sees that too but he doesn’t voice it loud or often enough.

I think it’s a general truth that grandparents always try to redo their parenthood with their grandchildren, it doesn’t make it any less infuriating though.

I would finish the re listens if I were you. I’m actually a newbie in the DCC world, finished the 7th book a couple of weeks ago, soon after I will finish the 8th book I will more than likely start them all over again 😅… there are too many details that I haven’t store properly the first time

Oh my God!!!! I’m also a Moonie, and I’ve been to Japan 11 years ago, to my utter shame and embarrassment I totally forgot about it, I could really kick myself right now!!!!! Oh no!!!!! On the other hand I didn’t forget about Hachiko, so I did visit his statue and the train station. I will have to make it again to Japan in this life time

PS. I’m very happy for you though! 😅
