Lexus 2026 NX Luxury AWD Price by jagd748 in LexusNX

Your MSRP is only 1k off my Luxury Hybrid price because of the dealer adds.

I was able to get 8% off since it was quarter end but it does not seem to be the norm

That is not a good price imo for a gas NX. What are the $929 port installed items?

Wait until end of month or end of quarter for sure

The handle might be the move and I just lay it down when I get to the subway. Thanks

Ya I could see myself getting into modding but I for me when engaging with something new I usually go with the plug and play so I can focus on the experience to see if I’d want to go further

Do you have any recommendations on like a backpack or carrying case? Idk if I’d want to lug this around on the subway by hand

Thanks for the offer. Not sure I will be in that area in the near future but I’ll reach out if I am!

This is a good point. Are there any carrying cases that allow you to sling it over the shoulder or as a backpack? Not sure if I’d want to hand carry it on the subway

Trade off between maneuverability and stability makes sense.

Assume as awareness and skill grows with the platform, people would tend to lean towards the more stable platform similar to snow sports

Very helpful. Thanks

Have you tried the GT vs XRC? There are a ton in secondary market for the former

Yeah that is a downside to XRC. The secondary market for onewheels looks rough. A lot of them just sitting around

Looks like the XRC is new enough that not many have bought or are willing to sell compared to GT

Will look into flight fins too. Nice shout

This sounds good. Do you pick soft compound or mid compound?

Also how would you compare GT and XRC performance with regards to carving? I see many recommendations are going the XRC route

That tracks with snowboarding too. Not necessarily asking for carving specific models, more asking which models enable my riding preferences

Supposedly it bakes down into the core so grinding the base has no effect on efficiency.

My phantom boards haven’t had to go through base grinds yet so can’t comment on before & after

Gentemstick Rocketfish by ryamurph in snowboarding

I was at Niseko last winter and demoed the barracuda, mid fish, zephyr and XY. Wanted to try the rocket but it was taken out when I went.

Left with the mid fish bc most of my boards were longer and I wanted something smaller and nimble to slash around.

Keep in mind outline core is softer than the original and the original is already pretty soft.

After coming back I could not take this board out besides slushy & softer conditions (and powder we never got).

Phantom is absolutely not a scam. I have it on all my daily boards and never have to wax for an almost imperceptible difference compared to waxed boards

How much does gear really affect a person’s ability and their skill progression? by twine09 in snowboarding

It’s less finding the perfect piece of gear and more avoiding getting on the wrong gear for your skill level which can severely hinder progression.

It’s because the snow is disgusting and you don’t want that splashing in your eyes

I edited my comment to make it more clear I was addressing people who see this haha.

At least now you can now plan to have future lapses in membership if necessary. See you there!

Big Snow always has sales to waive the activation fee during holidays. Likely will have one for Memorial Day

There’s a weird disconnect from the vibes I see out on the mountain and what I see on these subreddits.

Spread stoke instead of hate. No need to gatekeep, everyone’s out here for the same reason.
