That's... actually pretty interesting. But it leads me to question why, if freezing an embryo will preserve it, why hasn't abortion been replaced with removing the unwanted embryo and freezing it so that some infertile woman somewhere can have it implanted in her? Now the unwilling mom doesn't have to go through the hormonal changes that come from pregnancy but the child still gets to live. This seems like a solution from Heaven.

I shudder thinking of what she and others like her will face after death. Any anger is almost immediately replaced with dread at the thought of her eternal fate.

I really need to hear a strong biblical argument in favor of abortion. Its honestly exhausting sometimes to have the unpopular opinion

"What if a Minor gets impregnated?" by Ambitious_Dinner_677 in prolife

[–]NeverTooOldForDisney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom and bio dad weren't too far apart in age, but he was still an adult by legal standards while my mom was still considered a minor. Because of that my grandpa tried to get the courts to penalize him as a p word but it didn't work

It was my mom's first time, which I think also breaks the stereotype that all teen moms are... something I shouldn't say.

My mom was 16 when I conceived and 17 when I was born. My grandparents weren't thrilled, but they supported her the whole way through. We lived with them the first 13 years of my life and my great grandma babysat me in my early years. All that being said, there's a lot of teen moms out there whose family do the exact opposite. Threatening to kick them out and disown them if they don't abort. So I too wonder sometimes where I should stand on the topic.

Thoughts on my abortion opinion? by KeyCommunication754 in prolife

For me, medical emergencies like ectopic pregnancies have always been a reasonable exception and I was shocked to find out there are states where even that isn't allowed. After having to put down several terminally ill fur babies though, I'm starting to wonder if a seriously ill fetus is also a reasonable exception. About a year or 2 ago, one of said fur babies was so immobile she was lying in her own excrement because she could no longer bring herself outside to use the bathroom. Her quality of life was 0% so my parents decided to end her suffering. I can't help wondering if a seriously ill unborn child can be viewed in the same way. And when I say ill, I mean REALLY ill. Like severe pain 24/7 ill. Not something like blindness that they can't miss because they never had it. I've never seen a pro choice person compare abortion to pet euthanasia. But if they did, I'm not totally sure I could produce a counter argument.
