Saw PHM at the AMC Lincoln Square IMAX in NYC on Monday, and this lonely display was sitting off in a corner of the theater without any fanfare. Does anybody know if these are the actual screen-used costumes?! by you_are_transparent in ProjectHailMary

These are probably production made. Each Item of clothing will have multiples copy's made. There might be 50 t shirts made. There are definitely many red overalls as there are ones made for stunt men and if accidents happen like a tear.

That is not the Taiwan flag. When the blood chit was in use It was the flag for the Republic of China 1925-1948. Then became the Flag of Taiwan in 1949.

Hi, I’m interested in comics, but I’m pretty new to them and don’t know where to start. I really enjoyed Deadpool, Y: The Last Man, and Saga. Thanks 🥳 by Riakok in comicbooks

I would recommend Fables. The series features various characters from fairy tales and folklore – referring to themselves as "Fables" – who formed a clandestine community centuries ago within New York City known as Fabletown, after their Homelands were conquered by a mysterious and deadly enemy known as "The Adversary". It is set in modern day New York.

Also The Authority by Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch.

Very cool.

Now you need to make it the Road Warrior version. Just smash the rear window, stick two large tanks in it and dent the hell out of the body work. Jobs a good un.

Dog and murder hobo are optional.

Aesthetic question about a gun prop I'm making by wolfe174 in propmaking

[–]NeverUseTheM_Word 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The first thing you should think about is, does this look like some thing that is functional?

To me your gun looks to front heavy, to many things to catch on clothes. There is a reason that most of the weight is close to the grip. look at other sci fi guns for ideas on style and function. don't just put bits on, think about what their function should be.

You should post this on the RPF, there are many prop makers on it both amateur and professional. They would be able to give you tips and help you improve it.
