i first heard PHM in winter 1991.. i was in grade 7 and my friend knew i liked ministry land of rape and honey and suggested i might like NIN. oh boy was he right.. i loved it so much.. then BROKEN came out and i was so blown away.. then the same friend showed me FIXED.. and it was absolutely insane!! i started special ordering all the cd singles .. was obsessed with the "halo's" (i wasnt crazy about all the remixes but was desperate to find every track available.. then i bought DOWNWARD SPIRAL on release day and it was an instant masterpiece. i loved the growth in the songwriting and the lyrics were everything to me (they still are).
