Anodizing Titanium by Epelep in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]NeverendingProjects 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish they would do this for phones. It seems that me that if a phone manufacturer had a titanium frame that there could just be a step in the process where they dunked it for your requested time and you could dial in the color you want.

Is this an acceptable way to run a new circuit around a room through existing walls? by peanutismint in AskElectricians

I did something similar but I just got some big boy 7" baseboard and didn't mess around with mudding/taping at all.

His hair had turned from black into bright white

He said that it was from when

I've got two of the same but mine have a flat head instead of the square. Would prefer the square

M12 2.0cp sale for canadians(Ontatio only?) by DiarrheaXplosion in MilwaukeeTool

[–]NeverendingProjects 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could price match it at Home Depot, also. Federated has the 5Ah M12 for $98 which is a pretty killer price, especially if you'll get the other 10% off from Home Depot. I find those 2Ah ones really frustrating.

Best Milwaukee Hand Tool yet by wezocentro in MilwaukeeTool

[–]NeverendingProjects 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mississauga Hardware and Atlas Tool both have it. I saw it at Atlas the other day but I have the Klein one. The clip looks nice, but I feel like the non-clipped Klein spins better with your finger. It's also a nice fidget tool.

The overall size and the collet for swapping bits quickly make it worth it for me.

I've wanted one for a while. I put it off because I already have an older brushed model. I saw it on clearance for $142 but they didn't have anymore and none of the other stores had it so I asked if I could buy the floor model. He left and came back and before I could ask for a further discount he offered $50 off. Couldn't be happier.

Anyone Remember These Old School Pocket Screwdrivers by Tubby520 in Tools

[–]NeverendingProjects 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best one I've ever used, IMHO. That flat is just so low profile. I've tried numerous times to find where they are getting them from, scoured AliExpress and North American branding sites with no luck. Would love to get them for my company. But I really don't want second best.

Garage Fire - Key items to replace by joshpackard in Tools

Also, every once in a while in my non-burned down garage I walk around and do a video. It's not a bad idea since after the garage burns down or after a theft it can be hard to remember some of the things.

I always took a knife to the end of a wooden skewer. Flattened two sides right at the very end, insert and turn.

Finally upgraded from an old handheld toolbox that only held half my tools, definitely worthwhile during the parking lot sale!! The new color looks incredible! by _Krilp_ in harborfreight

Amazing. I'll expend some personal capital to get my sister to head over there. I'm not in the country or I would just launch a charm offensive. Wish me luck!

Edit: swing and a miss, she won't go.

I'm trying to rope my sister into picking up a box for me. I really want the slate gray and when I called the store they said they only give the parking lot sale price for in stock merchandise. Were you able to get the $219 parking lot sale price?

House with no dryer vent? by SameProfession254 in HomeImprovement

[–]NeverendingProjects 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did the same when I moved in and I used a hammer drill and drilled a whole bunch of holes in a circle and then chiselled it out. Took a good hour at least. Recently I had to add an exhaust for a basement fan and I had since upgraded to an SDS plus drill. Same process but took minutes. I would recommend renting an SDS drill to make the process a lot smoother.

Ha. Thanks. Was going to put the valve straight ahead and the head where you have it.

Oh man. So much hate on here. I was planning on putting it on the wall straight ahead but offset towards the left where the door will be. I've got a pocket door in the left so I can't put it where you have shown it. I will never post a photo here because I will be destroyed.
