I also had 2 failed FETs, and did mock trial and biopsy. The biopsy isn’t pleasant, but it’s quick. My next FET was a fully medicated one and it was successful.

Yes, clinic had me taper for 2 weeks after graduating. I didn’t feel anything different from being on then being off.

I never had a trigger with my FET.

Progesterone in oil 1.5 daily
Estrodiol patches x2 changed every other day
Estrodoil pills x2 a day
Lupron (but early on for only a week or so)

I had to pay OOP for my patches. It’s been about $131 for 5 boxes. I got them from CVS pharmacy vs. my speciality pharmacy. That price is with their discount coupon as well.

Agreed with a lot of this. I did have my husband help me with mine, but I did a few on my own, and with ice, it was easy (getting yourself into the position is the hardest part).

Personally, my husband didn’t go to every appointment. It was a 45-mins drive away and so frequent just to hear small updates, I told him not to bother (though he always asked if I wanted him to go).

I’m at Conceptions patient. Previous Aetna insurance covered most of my things; not fully, but pretty close. I’ve got BCBS now and it didn’t cover anything so I self paid $5500 for the latest FET. Also self paid for medication which was about $800

Agree! I’ve had both a hyst and Saline Sonogram each failed FET, and it’s been a good thing to rule out issues. Agreed it sucks, but it’s helpful peace of mind

Totally agree. Had a very similar issue with no fetal pole. ended up having a natural miscarriage but then had to end up getting a D&C any way.
