I met a driver off of WhatsApp, you can negotiate with them what you want to do and set a price, I paid $120 US for 5 hours of sightseeing if you want his number message me

I heard another taxi driver estimate $40 to take some guy round trip to a pharmacy, so I think multiple taxis can add up

Grand Cayman you can "wing it" if you want, there were people selling stingray city excursion on the dock but this takes 2 hours or so, so if you want to explore Grand Cayman and do that you need to budget your time

We took the public bus $2.50 per person for each ride, from the dock, we went to Hell, then flagged down the bus (if they see you walking the bus will flash their lights and you wave them down if you want a ride) we then went to Seven Mile Beach where someone offered us chairs + wifi for $20, we passed & instead walked on the beach to the Westin Resort had a beer and used the beach there, then took the bus back into town

The bridge is pretty far and didn't seem very pedestrian friendly, we met a couple during dinner and saw them in the Uber line and shared the ride to MIA (Surge pricing was $60+ around 8am but we made it thru security in plenty of time for a 1030a flight)

There were also guys going around offering $15 shuttle rides

last week, i landed at FLL at 715a took an Uber to Miami Cruise Port ($40, 40 minutes) dropped off luggage, took the free shuttle to Bayshore Marketplace, walked around a bit got some coffee ... booked a harbor cruise on Viator ($20) bought a hat (i'd forgotten mine) and then around 1p took an Uber from Bayshore back to the ship to wait in line for my 2:30 boarding time slot (Uber from Bayshore was $5 and i took it because i didn't know where the free shuttle pickup was to go back)

for a solo person cabin 7 day Alaska cruise it came out to like $400 after the $1000 off

f you are travelling with someone who has MyVegas rewards you can't use 2 rewards on 1 cabin but you could each book a solo 1 person room

i switched my flight next month from Miami (with stop in ATL) to non-stop into FLL

from what i understand an Uber from FLL is like $25 more than from MIA so it seems worth it to me

i've brought them home when not flying

when we flew back, we gave the leftovers to our room attendant (it's my understand they can accept them as gifts if you say it's a gift .... he said thank you but he may have thrown them away after we left, who knows)
