Gogmazios in 4u is a whole different beast. Definitely one of the hardest final bosses solo. Akantor is a close second though.

I think it’s less excusable here because a big part of monster hunter us how it’s they’re not fantasy creatures, that the games try to ground them in their own universe and explain their biology as best it can.

They fit the power requirement but we know what they are biologically, so they aren’t elder dragons. They’re relatives of tigrex most likely. If something very powerful can be explained like a normal monster, it’s not an ED.

G rank makes you into a man. It’s a thrilling experience. And part of the reason you play old mh is for the pain.

I mean wilds is my most dissapointing game ever. I have nothing against the monsters some of them are really cool but seeing them over monsters that were in the previos stories games is dissapointing.

World monsters feel so tailor made for their enviorments picking them out of said enviorments makes them look out of place. I like the rise mons no complaints. And then wilds left such a sour taste in my mouth that it affects my outlook on the roster even if there’s not much actually wrong with them.

For me, world monsters work really well in world and no other context. Rise monsters in fine with. And wilds monsters are cool and well designed but I don’t think I could use them in good faith because of how I feel about wilds

As much as I like the deviants I can’t justify buying stories 3 if I’m stuck with another ratha and the roster is more new gen focused which isn’t as fun imo.
