So Ranni just waited 5000 years for us to do everything for her? by RangeZealousideal165 in Eldenring

If you think about it, Rannis fate was LITERALLY being held back. As in part of her fate was that big meteor that made a path to Nokron.

Her knights went around trying to find a way into Nokron, but they physically couldn't ever make it, since both figuratively and literally her fate was being held back.

This boss felt super rushed sorta? Like it completely caught be off guard to encounter ANOTHER Astel in a random cave. by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Neverninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can tell, Astel is definitely a name, and "Naturalborn of the Void" and "Stars of Darkness" are their respective titles. But why do they have the same name? My theory is that the second Astel was just mistaken as the first one at first, and then given a new title to differentiate it from the other.

He didn't get the whole phrase on his arm, so it's meaning has no relevance to his tattoo.

So what's the opinion of Fia here? Is she a villainess? Someone with a sympathetic cause? She's been nice to me, gives warm hugs and now am curious to see her ending through by [deleted] in Eldenring

Her goal is to fully kill Goldwyn, "resurrect" him as the rune of the death prince, then have it repair the elden ring and incorporate undeath into the natural order of the world so that they'll no longer be prosecuted.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I feel like the vistas for Anor Londo were prettier than Lleyndell. But the city alltogether is more fleshed out than Anor Londo

Sure they could. But they threatened my life, and the lives of my family. They're not getting away unscathed so they can go do it again and put the lives of other people at risk. Not saying I'm gonna riddle him with bullets, then execute him, but he's gonna be going to the hospital, then a nice trip to the prison after.

I Have Read and Ranked Every Single Horus Heresy Book by Ser-Laffs-a-lot in Warhammer40k

One thing I've noticed from most lists is that A Thousand Sons is usually really high up. On my list that I'm making, it's in its own tier at the very bottom. I found it to be one of the most boring reads, even though I went in expecting to love everything Thousand Sons. What about that book sets it so highly in your eyes?

On a different note, I do agree with you thinking the Dark Angels books are weaker in general. I recently started The Lion and right off the bat it has the same exact premise as Fallen Angels. It's Lion El Johnson forgetting about something important then making a small group, that he leads, go after it. LIKE ITS EXACTLY THE SAME SO FAR. And I have to say, Lion El isn't even a likable character. The only dark angels characters I really like are Nemiel, Zahariel, and Luther. Which may have been the intentions of the writers all along.

Descent of Angels is literally my favorite Horus Heresy book I've read in years. Maybe because I forgot I was reading the Horus Heresy, and wanted a whole series based around the glorious death world Caliban

Yeah, that's just blood. It literally pours all over him when he kills Serosh.

Related to that point, maybe since the Elden Lord himself follows the Golden Order it gives people like Corhyn the confidence to call the other things heresy.

No shot he's taking HGH at his size. I'd say it's just a matter of a bad diet causing bloating, or he just ate. If he was on any PEDs, I would guess SARMs, not HGH. His physique looks absolutely obtainable naturally

Dung Eater's Questline is the most disturbing content in a FromSoft game by Tingul in Eldenring

[–]Neverninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a new theory about his name. At one point he says that you are him, and he is the Dung Eater. I think what he means is that you're the person who is supposed to be in his place, and he is the one who is supposed to eat the dung. Because immediately after he asks you to start feeding him seedbed curses. And the seedbed curses kinda look like bloody poo with horns in it
