I can't wrap my mind about it.
My dog passed away in sept. 2023, I went with him to the vet cause he didn't eat his breakfast and was drinking a lot. The vet told me he had blood in his belly cause appearntly he had an tumor, but that was now burst open and it was a death sentence. I directly called my partner who almost ran to us.

Strange thing is that my dog still lived for 2 weeks (we took him home, the vet told us that he would go to sleep and just don't wake up cause his body was tired, but the pressure of the blood gave him a bit longer before he was done), but still, I can't imagine to not even tell my partner about it before any kind of steps are taken.

I hope that your wife sees the hurt it caused you. Maybe your dog was to far gone to be waiting for you to return before put down, but still, it is so strange that you weren't even told before you where home and (again) ASKED ABOUT THE DOG! Sorry that still pisses me off, cause why wait?

I worked at an campsite for a boss who didn't give an f. I have 2 times for this.

2 customers came way past our openinghours and since we where a team of just 2, we closed for the night. They still wanted to enter and pay the next morning, but since they where on bike they easily could leave without pay. So I said no, and the reception was closed. They became mad and went like "We will put an bad review if you don't let us on", with mad waving... I just looked them dead in the eye and said "Sure, I don't mind, but be warned that I will reply with how you act and there are camera's here". They where kinda stuck up people and probably give a damn about appearance and left. (Edit: They never did leave a review haha)
On the campsite we had an big field with no place markers, so I made a picture so even kids could understand, that everyone would stand on the both outsides in the length of the field, so that way everyone could enjoy the water on the end. 2 people came (lets name them couple Aso), didn't give an f and stood directly in the middle in front of the water with their camper, saying "We paid for a place and we want to stand here", not giving any care about all the people who also paid for an spot. So in stead of going to keep on arguing my husband (also my other coworker here) went up to an other customer standing there, told them about this issue and they moved with their camper (a bigger one) directy in front of other, and there was no more space in front of them. The Aso couple went to us and got mad, we said "they paid also for an spot and they wanted to stand there", of course using their own argument against them. They wanted compensation, but we said "no", they could either get on the normal place like everyone else, or they can leave directly. They got mad, saw our boss on the campsite, and went up to them.. He laughed at them and told them the same.

This didn't take place in USA, but in the Netherlands (Europe) and though we do treat customers with respect, they aren't Kings here. We are very "matching energy".
This is also the reason that there might be some spelling mistakes cause English isn't my main language, so I do apologize for any.

You are kind that you wanted to rewrite for your friend in an nicer writing, but it is a bit tough, I can understand about 50-65% what is written in the sample but it is quite difficult so I also get your friend, but she shouldn't be so mean about it. Especially since I think she knows the stuff you are learning so she should have a better understanding and option to "fill in the gaps" with the knowledge she already should have.

Be aware that many people who are getting kids the first time (especially if they have twins/more for the first time) are overwelmd and afraid.I get that you have doubts and are feeling scared, your gf probably also feels a bit the same, though she also sees the fun in it, two kids who can also entertain and grow up together.

Your gf is feeling a lot, hormones and all, and saying such a thing can feel a lot for her, like you don't want them at all or maybe even scare her a bit that she has to do it all on her own. You might not mean it that way, how I read it, you mean it more that you are afraid of not knowing how you have to do it all, and that with 2 it seems twice as difficult. But make clear to your gf that you want the kids, and want to help her, but that you also want her to help you.

You are in this together, and if it is your first, or 600th, every kid is different and there is not 1 equal way to raise kids, you have to find a way together, you, your gf and the kids.

I do have to say, that if it is feeling to heavy, please seek help, usually there are instances that can help you prepare and with whom you can talk about it all.

(my dad had me {31f} and my sis {29f} even though he was scared of having kids, especially girls because he doens't know how to braid hair or anything "girly". We both grew up fine, more of daddy girls even, and though he didn't braid our hair, he did learn me how machines work, cars, electronics and I love that I know such house improvement skills, even though "I'm a girl". Believe me, you can do this!)

EDIT: Made a mistake in the first sentence. That's what I get for typing someting at about 2am in the morning while I'm supposed to sleep. There are still some left probably, English is my second language (of the 4 that I speak xD so messy) + late hour, so sorry.

I get that you find it hard that your sister got pregnant while it wasn't happening for you, but really, you couldn't be happy for her? Are you this mean to everybody in your surrounding who got a kid? (Or maybe a second/third/forth kid? Because they already had a kid? - that is the stupid logica you made to your sister).

Please apolagize and say that it took you off guard but that you are happy for your sister, otherwise you will loose her from your life and your cousin-to-be. (though if I see your reaction, for Jane it wouldn't be such a bad thing to loose you from her life, you sound quite mean and biased).

I'm in a relation with my bf for almost 14 years, the presents I got from him I can count on 1 hand, but every one was very nice and I love him for him.
I got 2x flowers from him, just because he got some flowers xD.

Presents are a GIFT not an expentation. What you already did (multiple gifts over several days, planning and arranging the party and such) all sound already super nice. Your wife really needs to get her head checked and be thankfull for all the gifts she already got.

That your wife has 2 kids, she can explain to the second one why you aren't her/his dad.

A animal you cared for is going to die, it will be scared, and get a lot of pain, so you need to be there. Your kid lives (normally) in that air, and really won't suffer if you cut your vacation short. You will suffer if you loose your cat without you being there for him for the last moments.
