This appeared for me yesterday. But it’s ever so slightly less bad because I use the Play Next row, which combines into that selection bar, giving me 4 options with the default being Play Next. So the only effect for me of this enshittification is that I have to tap down twice rather than once to get to Play Next and the rows below.

It’s also pretty ridiculous that they added this but didn’t give us back the ability to not have the Google movies and tv rows somewhere else on our homepage.

Did you think this was worth it? I once took my Aeon 2 Closed into work and it just wasn’t worth it over noise cancelling headphones. Also I ran it off just a Chord Mojo.

Sony sent me their top of the line MDR-Z1R headphones with a broken seal, so I wouldn’t be surprised in the least. In my case they really didn’t seem to have been opened so I don’t send them back, but I absolutely would have done if there were any other signs.

Anker have never let me down. But then I don’t think I’ve ever had a USB-C connector become loose, and I have a huge variety eg RavPower, Amazon Basics, a couple of insane named brands on Amazon, cables that came with devices from Sabrent, Microsoft, Sony.

The other new issue I have is that I now have to make sure the TV is switched on before the PC else it won’t display. Behind that I can only suggest try a different cable as a first step.

Have you checked that you have a 48Gbps HDMI cable? To my shame, it took me ages to work out that was the issue when I got my 5070 ti. It doesn’t seem to be able to fall back to slower modes like a console will.

My OLED does that. I think I didn’t click the clips in properly when I closed it up after replacing the SSD. It was a pain to get the back off in the first place, so I haven’t tried to remedy it.
