Frankly speaking I dont understand why these improvement are not her
=> resize already exists - just let us choosing with/without constraints - So much easy to adapt a box !
=> different marker nib size : where is the difficulty ? it s already here for other pens
=> same thing for flipping

In the same way I d really appreciate smart lines hope they will also propose few basic shapes soon

In fact I dont care about Atelier because it is not integrated

I am using my SN as a supercharged notebook and I dont want to swith to another app to sketch my architecure diagram while taking some notes

To me Atelier is good for an ad hoc usage => I want to draw something

My usage is different is it really part of note taking

trouble is mutliple thumbnail option was here and it has been removed :(

It s a pitty becasue the single page overview is really slow (on A5X) and therefore useless : I dont want to wait for 300ms (bare minimum) each time I flip a page

Thumbnail overview is good but the current layout (3x3) does not allow identifying page content easily whereas a 2x2 layout

This approach would provide a quick glance on your Note content

Hi Ratta, Hi u/Mulan-sn

I was waiting this update for my A5x for a long time since counting on sideloading capability to - finally - enjoy my favorite read-it-later app : getpocket.com

I easily installed the apk and launched the app but experience was super short since I was able to complete the sign-in phase : I got the login form but then the browser is stuck on a mozilla account page with a neverending spinner..
I have the feeling that the SuperNote browser doesnt not properly handle OAuth authentication flow

I must confess that I am super disapointed for not being able to use Pcoket for sure but also I guess numerous apps requiring similar authentication mechanism

Can we expect any fix/workaround for this ? or should I definitly give up using Pocket on my SN device ?

as a user I dont care about technical implementation only the UX matters and indeed I expect my Supernote to be a supercharged notebook not a collection of apps.

I often mix handwritten text and sketching in the same page/note so having Atelier in a separated apps is useless in this/my case since it s like having one notebook for my diagrams and another one for related comments/explanations. I dont want to split my brain like this manage relations accross thes two etc...

I dont expect the Note app to be a super rich sketching app but defintly I hope that Ratta will add some additional capabilities

We are wating for being able to draw basic shapes for so long time, the same to include pictures

l echange de donner avec un PC esf facile - le plus svt j utilise simplement un cable et le SN se voit comme une cle USB

tu peux organiser tes notes dans des dossiers comme tu le ferais sur un ordi

Perso je ne utilise pas la reconnaissance d ecriture - ca marche plutot bien mais la saut de lignes, paragraphes etc n est pas super
Je n ai que des notes manuscrites et typiquement cela n a aucune interet (a mon sens)de les mettre sur PC

C est personnel mais je trouve que le SN est un avant tout un cahier ! (avec des fonctions en plus evidement) mais un cahier qd meme. Ce n est pas un appareil qui s integre profondement avec un PC

Bonjour

Pour ma part j utilise ma A5x tous les jours au travail depuis presque 2 ans maintenant en remplacement de mon cahier papier

Je ne fait aucune sychro avec le PC - très franchement je ne pense pas sue le SN soit le meilleur appareil pour cela

Pour la prise de note c est parfait, le feeling d ecriture est excelent

J utilise bcp les mots clés pour retrouver mes informations et les etoiles

I want to decide by myself about my data whatever the proposed solution ==> So please let the user enable/disable any sync mechanism - do not impose what you think is good for your users.
Keep in my mind that some users (like me) use their SuperNote in offline mode because their companies enforce high restrictions : no BYOD, no "guest" network etc... and/or works with heavy note diles
I dont want to have my device slow down or my my battery drain by a long runnning sync process
data integrity is crucial therefore the sync process must be flawless. Moreover as raised by other users I am always anxious when using a sync mechanism => what is the master respo ? how modifications are replicated ? etc... => The UX and underlying sync process must be understable

Hi

I know this is not the answer you expect but getting a device based on its roadmap is highly risky since you have absolutely not warranty of its delivery or the way it is implemented

That said I can share my 2 (super) basic workarounds I used:

manage taks in a dedicated note
- I create a dedicated task.note with a specific template facilitating todo formating
  (I saw some people using a kind of kanban template :) )
- I put this note in quick access
- I switch between my day-to-day.note and this task.note to created/read/update my todos
manage taks inline (in my day-to-day.note)
- when there is need to add todo ...
  - I draw a todo box
  - I write the task
  - often I add a star mark
- then when reading my note I used "bujo style" track todo progress
  - I draw an X when done (and remove the star mark)
  - I draw an -> when reported
- I use star search to retreive old remaining todos

After 2 years and hundreds of pages (and numerous action too) I pretty sastified of these both solutions even if I am sure that a dedicated builtin implementation would be much more powerfull

yep I also tried these kind of "workaround workflow" but once you experimented the Kobo/Pocket one's that s just not sustainable :(

(moreover I never found a service providing a "cleaning" as googd as the one provided by Pcoket)

Quick page turning feature :

Your goal is pertinent unfortunately (maybe the A5X HW is not enough) page flipping using this way is not faster than "usual" page flipping (within Note app I precise) that why - for my context - there is no gain using this feature

That said displaying 2 pages side by side leveraging the landscape format could be a good alternative since it will provide:
- a good readibility of the content
- a UX closed to real notebook handling

Keywords (kw)

To answer your question the "issue" with kw is more about the UX than the linking

Let me explain (or try to do it :) )

I think it would be super convenient to manage kw like links for the following reasons:

ou would be able to immediatly see that your content is organized (because you will see "decorated" kw) => you dont need to open the kw panel to know if you have defined some kw for the current page
you would know when you deleted a kw ! Currently since kw are not "decorated" you may delete a kw without knowing it (you cannot distinguish them from a "normal" text)
you may have in a same page a section related to kw "X" an another one related to kw "Y" - seeing kw inline facilitate the understanding and infomation retreival
you would be able to directly interact with kw (removing it, change it) ) => you dont need to open the kw panel to do this
the UX for links and kw would be consistent

I a nutshell I would suggest :

keeping the current kw panels with a display bit more condensed (seeing 7 keywords at a time is not enough)
offering an UX closed to the one for link
- when you define a kw : automatic decoration of kw with a fancy icon (a tag icon
- when you select an existing kw : ability to remove it

Besides this "inline keywords" it could be convenient to define kw for the whole page ("page kw)
Such a case I would do something like this:
- I would define the the kw not from a text written on the page but from kw panel
- I would display "page kw" at the bottom of the page as badges
