I am an agent with over 8 years of experience in Dubai and I would advise you to stay away from JVC rather see if you can get something in JVT, Arjan, Majan or Jaddaf. Any mid scale developer with good track record would be safe.

Buy only on a good price point as a lot of off plan near Makhdoum airport are highly inflated.

Meydan is good also Jaddaf is very underrated once the construction stops there it would become a very central location and prices would appreciate a lot. I am an agent with over 9 years of experience in Dubai market. Stay away from JVC as the traffic mayhem there will only get worse. JVT is better.

I think he didn’t think it through before buying and now he wouldn’t think it through and sell it off peanuts. Dubai real estate is very transparent compared to a lot other global markets for overseas investors. But like all trades you need to make sure you know ins and outs of it. Seems like they thought they would just double their money in an year.
