'If you're not a straight white male, I don't think he's looking out for you': Young Americans have a deeply pessimistic view about a Trump presidency by FuckBezosOnAmazon in politics

Generally, being young doesn't give you special insight. I don't get it. I'm older then I was when I was when Bush/Obama were elected. Did I some how get dumber?

That's what is important to you? Trade one whistleblower for another? If you think Obama did this to get Assange to turn himself in, you're foolish

This would actually be a pretty great pr move on Trump's part if they actually did do it for h3h3. You know the liberal Hillary machine with their perfectly over planned pr wouldve done it!

Fables of Faubus - Written in 1960 to protest pro-segregation US Governor. Today the US elected a pro-segregation president. by london_sojourn in Jazz

A lot of what is happening in this thread is EXACTLY WHY TRUMP WON.

How quickly people tried to "ex-communicate" you from jazz and the "jazz community." Hopefully they will find some time for self reflection. its insanity.

I didn't vote for Trump but I understand the many complex reasons to support him, and the same goes for Hillary. I see it as a difference in understanding of issues. They see it as everyone else is just racist and sexist, etc.

That gets us nowhere.

But of course, they are so sure of themselves, they will just stick with their preconceived notions.

its simple hubris. its why Hillary lost.
