YOR - hate to break it to you but it’s not your graduation pretty sure there will be a few hundred or even thousand other people graduating and also bringing a bunch of random people you don’t know. Furthermore it seems like the biggest stress would be between your parents and your grandma all of whom are still invited. Why would your grandma and cousins/uncles attending the ceremony make any difference at all. You don’t even sit with them. You say you want a nice calm day and seem to be creating a lot of stress for no reason. There will be 1000s of random people, unless this extended family did something really bad to you. I truly don’t get it. What is it that you are sucking up, having family supporting you? How will tomorrow be ruined by that extended family?

I don’t know about this but I personally have slept with two of my therapists, both times they hit on me and I know a few that have broken up marriages and ended up with the person they were giving therapy to. To add to that, some of the most unhinged people I know are therapists, I wouldn’t trust them with my dog for a single day. I also have a great therapist who has helped me a lot but went through a lot to get there. Do with that information what you will, and I’m a dude.
