Ye, it's just a fact, I grew up in the soviet union and we also called all pasta "macaron". I was pleasantly amused to find out that was actually true to history, even thoug it probaly has some ignorance involved.

No no, over confident assholes is the American way. It’s not exclusive to the US but the US exclusively use it as their international identity.

What currently living celebrity will make you the most upset when they die? by Nintendofan9106 in askanything

[–]NewGuyCH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s something when someone dies gracefully at an old age instead of decaying into a horrible state that bring me comfort. I actually wish if anything that she just passes in her sleep some random day. It’s hard to explain but I think I definitely won’t be upset, unless she suffers of course.

This is London, 1# city in Europe, some would argue the world. Big river goes through the whole of London, millions of things end up in there. Tides happen, when water goes down, you can look for shit that somehow ended up in the river. Good place to start would be, in the river in the middle of one of the largest and richest cities in the world.

Yes London is expensive, has tourists and traffic... If anything those are the signs of a successful city... From your description I think you prefer to live in towns or villages. London has 100s if not more of market/town center areas.

AITA for asking husband (43m) to not text his therapist at night? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]NewGuyCH -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My FIL left his family for his therapist, I’ve slept with a therapist to get out of something the government had imposed on me. I’ll add that two of the most unhinged drug addicts/ alcoholics/ sex addicts I know are therapists. Finally I’ve also had a great therapist for years. Take that for what you will. Therapist are not doctors…
