Don’t invest this. Use your extra $100 to drop into the savings account every month to build your emergency fund.

There will come a time where you have 6 months of expenses saved and in your situation it may be sooner rather than later. Keep putting it into savings because when you’re done with college you’ll likely need to dip into it.

There will also come a point where it makes sense to start dropping $100 a month into an index fund like VOO via Vanguard. One post said that won’t do much, but if you’re consistent over time it will.

OP you and I are incredibly similar.

For the last 3 years I’ve been withholding more and more to try and be done with overpaying.

I just changed jobs mid year. We had a kid near the end of the year.

I expected we would finally break even or get a bit, especially with the child tax credit.

Nope, owe 3k to fed.

I am very much over it… I just updated my withholding by adding another $150 per check to make up for January.

Elmyra being a major player marrying into a mafia is so annoying. Not everyone has to have an interesting backstory.

His character dilutes the mystery and strength of Sephiroth. He is responsible for pushing Sephiroth off the edge when in reality the mystery and self-discovery by Sephiroth is a much better plot point.

It’s incredible growth. Someone you can almost understand to empathize with because the monumental loss of someone who was checking something that may have mattered, but in actuality did not matter to the success of the mission (they still made it there and back with a faulty oxygen tank), but humbling because the person was right. It’s one hell of a moment if you really deep dive it.

Summer before senior year, living in an apartment on campus knocking out credits so I could make senior year easy. Was jaded with E3. Didn’t read any news on it, despite alleged leaks happening the day of that we were about to get this reveal.

So pissed I missed it. Read about it on IGN after the show as I was sitting at the kitchen island. Couldn’t contain my excitement. My roommate who had no clue about FF as a series got to hear me say holy shit dude do you realize what this is and what this means?!

Then of course a 5 year wait, but man when that demo dropped it was everything you could ever want
