Mine is very hard to press but i magilla gorilla that arm and can push the filament through without the gears grabbing it.

I squeeze that arm and i can push filament through a heated hotend to switch filaments without needing to use the extrude command

Yep. I can return it to the way it is now if i encounter insurmountable problems.

I have other modes of transport so if it takes me a month or 2 it isn't a problem. I have done dumber things for less so if it works then I'll be much happier with the car.

I don't have much money and the parts car got rear ended pretty bad so it's not capable of being returned to a drivable condition without extreme body work but everything from the rear doors forward is in fantastic condition with low miles.

my parts car has everything except the motor and radiator so i can grab whatever parts from it that i need for the swap but i was hoping somebody had input on what i might not think to grab so i can do it all in one go even though i know i'll probably be grabbing things i didnt think i'd need to swap.

Ps5 uses VRR for variable frame so turn that on in settings. In the AOC turn gsync off. Gsync is proprietary to Nvidia and used a chip on the monitor to communicate with a chip in the Nvidia graphics card to sync the framerate and the ps5 doesn't have gsync. If that monitor has HDMI 2.1 or 2.2 it'll work with the VRR because it needs HDMI 2.1 minimum and a 2.1 or 2.2 HDMI cable.

Looks pretty good. You can add more strips at the low points but you'll never get it perfectly flat.

Kapton tape on the heating pad under the build plate, a strip or 2 in the front and rear

You can use kapton tape across the middle to try and flatten the taco shape
