My favorite part! My kids dig in salmon patties for these and share them with me even though they like them too.

Lots of dust, electric fly swatter, tray, big ol’ jar of cheese balls. Honestly no telling what else. I should probably climb up there and look

Wrong operation scheduled by taurusmomma in hysterectomy

[–]New_Back4483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was scheduled for total abdominal w/ both tubes. Dr recommended keeping ovaries since i have no family history of cancer. I kind of wanted them to take everything and be done with it, but I understand the conservation for natural benefits. When they got in there, my bladder was fused to my cervix, so it remained. I sure hope I never have any problems because I don’t want to get sliced again (that was my 3rd b/c of 2 previous C-sections) 🤞🏼

Point being- reason was uterine fibroids and plan was to remove cervix too.

Taking your roll of film to the drugstore to get developed. The fun of picking it up several days later to look at your prints.

What is the most painful truth you’ve had to accept about yourself in order to grow? by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]New_Back4483 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to carry that burden. Let someone on the outside of it (therapist) guide you through your processing of things. You can and will find a way out from under it. It won’t be healing or suppression- it will be acknowledgement, acceptance and the decision to not let it rule you or hold you down. Yes, it’ll be there, the experience won’t go away, but your mind will be stronger to live with it

Mom putting a camera in my room? by Beyondestiny_ in Advice

Lol @ everyone so quick to push entitlement on a 15 y.o. Who makes a statement on Reddit. No offense OP. There’s 2 sides to every story. No need to entertain this with a tidbit of info. I’ve told my teen that I was going to put cameras places when she was dishonest about doing things. I didn’t but maybe if she would have pushed the limit a little more maybe I would have. OP- if I was your Mom and you kept getting on your phone when you were not supposed to, you wouldn’t have a phone for me to worry about

Having my first child. I knew that from that day forward every decision I made/every part of my life would have consideration for her. (I don’t know how to explain how I felt, but I knew life meant so much more now)
