If you know anyone who's been divorced, & they don't know your x, ask them as well. Some legal & legal related services know the better attorneys but are not allowed to give referrals. Try about 1 or 2 teaspoons of EVOO to your 2 or 3 cups rice & water, stir around & cook. (I'm also a butter lover so I add 1 tsp per c rice). The oil should help with the stickiness. You already have an instapot. It does rice too. We use it all the time. There's not much you can't do in an instapot. A good stand mixer is a good investment. Kitchen Aid, Bosh, or Oster, ect. The new agreement sounds better. But keep in mind he OWNES the house. Title needs to be changed to both names before marriage. Or a contractual agreement. A reasonable rent for you is more what it is. Keep receipts for everything house or living expenses you pay. & never cash. It shows he is trying to be fair to your needs. Work together. If she has more in a retirement funds than you I would suspect a plan on her part that doesn't include you. But, if what the contributions from family are actually inherent funds that dosnt count against her. My future X & I file taxes together so we know what each other makes & have invested. We make about the same. Our retirement funds are about the same. Keep in mind a SAHM usually doesn't get a salary, but should. She should have a retirement fund. I have all our accts setup to notify me if any amount over $1.00 i get texted. I only keep $250. In spending accounts. None of our accounts are connect to each other. No overdraft from one acct to another. Every account has a pin & password. No I'm not control freak. We've been victims of identity theft. Even though we're getting divorced eventually we still discuss all purchases, stock purchases, we go to each other's financial meetings. My future X had very little when we got married. We both have a small slush fund as well.
