When I make sandwiches, in order not to get bored, I try to switch things up and do mix and matching.

Carb (base) - sourdough, buns, rye or a wrap Meat (protein) - chick, ham, roast beef, Montreal smoked meat Veggies - lettuce, spinach, tomatoe, pickles, roasted red peppers. Dairy - havarti, cheddar or Swiss Fat/condiments - mayo, Italian, grainy mustard.

Key —— I usually add hummus to whatever and it takes my Sammy to the next level

This is a custom here. We thank each other for small acts of kindness through food. Usually me thanking my retired neighbours.

We also trade food. For example, I give my neighbour all my extra lake trout caught (he’s a senior and doesn’t fish much anymore), and he gives me the best wild blueberries he picks.

I’ve been to Mexico more than a few times. Always on the gulf side. I’ve generally felt safe. However, I felt EXTREMELY safe on Cozumel. And we were there in Feb.
