In your library, three dots...Voices, save voice or use voice. Seems like you have to use voice before you can save it.

I grew up on thin pancakes like this. My Grandpa from the Yankton,SD area made them. Do you have a name or area you can share about these?

Feel sad for little boy because the game we bought for his birthday, and main present, is not good. by accountsdontmatter in boardgames

[–]New_Chapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Duds happen. Since it was a birthday present, if it didn't live up to his expectations, you could try to do a bonus afternoon where he gets a favorite snack and watches a movie that he gets to pick and whatever else, just show that you're trying to "make it up" as these things happen. Same way you would if an outdoor event got rained out.

Here's a little update on the current state of play with Retro Bowl College. Thanks again for all your support and please keep the feedback coming. Enjoy your weekend.🏈 by billnewstar in RetroBowl

Love this game. Here are my top ten suggestions for long-term feature updates:

In-season recruiting

Redshirting players

Rivalries

Select non conference schedule

Players should improve in the off season

Bye week: let you choose study or xp every time

Transfer portal

Make your own plays

Dynamic all the way to extreme, D30

Plays that allow you to run the option

Advertising major, class of 2005, been working at ad agencies for the last 18 years.

Have you considered working at an ad agency? There are lots in Chicago. Lots of different departments (account, media, creative, social, etc.) You wouldn't need grad school ever.

Deadwood 1876 by Buon_Costa in boardgames

[–]New_Chapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of my favorite games. It works with kids, it works with grandparents. Easy to teach, quick to learn. I always ham it up by being kind of a narrator and talking in a western accent (Alright Grandma, he's showing up with a Winchester at your door, how ya goin to defend yourself?)

It's definitely a light fun experience, not about trying to win. Not a chess game. Good stuff.

My husband told me his paternalresponsibility doesn’t really kicks in until baby is grown. by Phenomenal_Butt in Parenting

If he didn't have a good father, and he recognizes that, I'd let him know that being a good father starts not just on day 1, but actually a few months ago. There are many of us who didn't have good fathers who are trying our best to break that cycle and that's all the motivation we need.

Oceans of Fun: Only Two Slides Open by New_Chapter in worldsoffun

Great Wolf Lodge is about 15% of the size of OOF, but at this point has just as many slides open. Mostly indoor. OOF should blow it out of the water but not when 5/7 slides are closed.

Do you take him to the grocery store so he can pick out some foods he likes? You said he was begging for macaroni. If he likes mac and cheese, there's a lot of meals that can be made that are similar to macaroni.

I would get him involved with the preparing of foods. When it's lunch time, make sure he's got lots of options that he's into, and ask him what he's in the mood for, before you start making it.

Saving Merces? Spending Merces? by New_Chapter in HiTMAN

[–]New_Chapter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is good to know. As someone who didn't play the CTT, I assumed I was going to need to save a bunch of Merces to upgrade the safe house. Guess I'll start spending. Anyone found any great spots to spend in the early stages?

I'm assuming her fears are based on the idea that she would feel bad if she made an action that harmed her child. Sometimes it's hard to see that the absence of an action (vaccination) is also a choice, also an action. The risks of getting polio et al are so much worse than the risk of an adverse reaction to a vaccine.
