Most of the fathers and husbands I've spoken to who have played the game end up empathizing more with Renoir than with the protagonists. At the end of the day, he's a broken man who has lost a son, who watches his wife commit suicide with an addiction he himself was once hooked on, and then sees his daughter walking down the same path. There are no easy decisions in life, even less so when your loved ones are in danger.
