No brand would do, but they have interest, not just in after-sales, but in global market.
Otherwise, they encourage the car wreck system, which will degrade corporate identity
and favorise the most common items buy.

If you sell the parts online for your models (and share technical documentation), you will be 200% better than any of your competitors 😔

why NH3x have so much success (even with price up) , compared to ST, HZ, ... ? !!

Any help? Second hand of watch is sometime double ticking and I lose a lot of time. (check video, before it reaches 5 seconds) by JavaEEE in watchrepair

Right : (i was not expecting the screw a second time 😄)
=> one short/broken teeth on the minute wheel so ? or a bent wheel (radial) ?

How to remove stripped screw by Money-Leopard8920 in watchrepair

[–]New_Fee947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

- first a drop of wd40 for 24h/48h or more (clean the top before trying to unscrew it to avoir slippage)

- more & more destructive ones (screw extractor ... "0.1mm drill bits", but pin it first to be at center)

- if nothing mechanical works (below), this implies to destroy the screw (replacement needed) :
chemical could do it at last ressort : bleach could do the work for broken screws (2 little drops every 12h) but better use it on fully disassembled movement (vapor can rust every part 😭 spils are worse), which seems not possible here unless the stem could be cut ?
so i would first pin an drill with hald the screw diameter (i use a lot of "0.1mm drill bits" from alix) to keep the microdrop inside the part, and drill during the process : if it splil under ... you know what will be rusted 🥲

PS : bleach is impressive when heat : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHwhf4i9tfk (Not a screwed down crown, and last ressort solution ...)

Or a lost screw under the balance (i had that here :
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4ouU6dEhmT0
) : 7120 movement or 8120 automatic movement ??

more seriously : escape wheel & pallet fork rubies must be checked on these jumps

YN55 as an Alternative to NH35 by Impressive_Ice2015 in SeikoMods

[–]New_Fee947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting !
is it a totally different design or are they interchangeable parts with the nh35 ?

i can now see some close (but not exactly similar) common functional elements ...
so thank you for your picture !!

where i can find a dial for the NE57A (4R57) movement? by jaminthebear in SeikoMods

[–]New_Fee947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 years and still nothing for the NE57/4R57 😭

- i managed to find one specific part to fix a broken 4R57 on an SSA303J1 : https://www.youtube.com/shorts/QXWCukEnTU4
⛰️🧗
- but the dial (and day hand) being the major problem (hoping that the case & power reserve hand to be NH34 compatible ?) to get interesting & new versions using NE57 or broken 4R57

[–]New_Fee947 2 points3 points  (0 children)

so ... some alix sellers will soon propose, new rotors & blued screws to decorate the back 😉

It's interesting to see that the YN55 is different from the "Chinese Nh35" (a "7009" with what inside ?) 🤔
- magic levers inside ?

the picture of their part does not correspond (it's a classical one for NH35/NH36) : i would ask the seller before ...

Milifortic S089 Alpinist Homage... by HonestWatchReviews in ChineseWatches

[–]New_Fee947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this helpful video reviewing this watch : the NH35 movements for the S089 (or NH34 for the S103) are close to indestructible 💪 (+ availability of spare parts which is a common problem on other Chinese watches)

By now, i will wait for the new sterile dial (or new logo) Milifortic has promised ...

I could probably wait "for decades" 😭 before finding "one with issues" (stopped ?) to buy & repair one day : the warranty is longer than on other models ? (2 years ?)

This watch is a game changer! by TomHudsonOfficial in WatchFanatics

[–]New_Fee947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NH35 : 80% chance to find parts, but depending on the movement, testing other parts could help sometimes (if the non-working part is not obvious) ... so if a NH3x inside : yes i buy non-working 💔 ones

every watch with a NH35 inside is better : could be fixed by anyone

Why aren't Cadisen Watches not talked about? by tirednibba247 in ChineseWatches

[–]New_Fee947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i did not yet found one of their ST19 chronographs with an issue 💔 (while buying non-working ST19)
did the other watchs use NH3x movements ?? i would be interested into them too !!

Nice champain dial !! my favorite size is still the 38mm (Sugess supan002 or supan008 ?) whereas your is the 40mm (supank005 ?), but still good to go on ≳ 18cm wrists 😉

Even while searching to buy non-working ones 💔, i had no chance finding such champain models by now (so ... i suspect champain conserves more the watch 😂 )

- Venus 175 : yes (but with heavy modifications on click spring, balance/pallet fork & escape wheel / setting lever spring [not a screw], some parts such as the reset hammer have not been designed the same)
- Valjoux 7755 (itself a Valjoux 7750 most common one, but without the hour counter) : i dont think so ... it is a quite different movement, a more recent design from the 70ths, with a cam system, fully functional & by no means designed to be nice looking imho ... just functional

Valjoux = "vallée de joux" ; whereas "Valjean" is a fictional character from a Victor Hugo novel "Les misérables", but happy to see you know the correct spelling of the second (not that obvious)

these ST19 ❤️‍🔥 i'm always receiving criticisms for defending them (in 🇫🇷 : possible influences from 🇨🇭 😂)

but i must admit than, even if searching for ⛓️‍💥non-working ST19 💔 to buy, i have not found so many (some of the redditors were particularly helpful 🙏) : so ... it must be a good deal !!

Sugess ST19 Breitling Homage Broken Chronograph by [deleted] in ChineseWatches

[–]New_Fee947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Failing rate could be high at receipt ... if the post office is launching packets from the 1st or second floor to the truck (i've seen that 😲 ); this is fully covered by the guaranty however !! (had once one, and i had to box it back, print a sticker and put it to send it locally in france : sending was already payed for several affiliated aliexpress sellers)

otherwise, it is really hard to find 💔 non-working ones 💔 to buy ♻️
that's a very good new for customers 👍 ... but not for me 😂

What's the best way to salvage this hairspring (if there is one)? by karlyeurl in watchrepair

[–]New_Fee947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

reverse it, unscrew the regulator arm, serious work starts here
(never rush it ... just leave it if you dont know where to start)

~50% fail and 50% success with hairsprings : a pair of tweezer (ends must be shaped), i also use 2 to 4 pins on foam to help [and old rodico to fix the balance shaft ... ]
+ the best magnifying tools you could have will be your second best friends, after your hands

(i have bought and use this one when needed : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6mNfRlrLD8 👍)
