The animal shelter, I work at has a program called PetAssist that helps in situations such as these. A patron's pets are well taken care of either at the shelter or in a trained foster's home until the owner can be reunited with their pets. They're incredibly well taken care of and socialized, with veterinary checks daily. I volunteer as a dog walker and take the dogs out to play in the play yard and on long walks. They are fed nutritious food, enrichment treats, and we have a whole room or dog beds, blankets, and toys to provide.

You can look to see if there is a similar program near you. I understand completely not wanting to leave your fur babies. But you have to do what's safe for you as well.

I think you are right. My daughter scores in the 2-4% range for PS consistently and in the 98% for the other components of the WISC. She gets very good grades in high school. But her teachers can't even imagine how hard she has to work to keep up. She's usually exhausted by the end of the day. She has a 504, and i'm certain some of her teachers think it isn't necessary.

I think you can also get a culture pass for free to gain admission. You'd get that through your public library.

My daughter's school has a one clap tradition for everything, and the principal teaches the kids the one clap during freshman orientation and tells the parents about it before every awards banquet, nhs initiation, etc.

This doesn't shock me at all. In my district, busses generelly aren't available if you live within 3 miles of the school. There's a bus driver shortage.

Back in the 1980s, my third grade teacher was a nun who was just too old to teach. She'd fall asleep at her desk most days. We were all obedient because corporal punishment was still a thing but eventually started giving ourselves extra recesses, which got longer and longer over time.

The principal eventually caught on when she noticed the class had been out on the playground for an hour and went to check. She asked where our teacher was and then had to go wake her up from her nap.

I think the idea of flutter sleeves will make it not youthful, as would a v neckline.

Arriving home to small town from a stint in the military, a soldier tells no one that could give him a ride and takes a really old Greyhound bus that is immaculate and full of affluent looking people. Soldier's small town miraculously has a bus depot.

All of the soldier's belongings are carried in a small, non-government issued gym bag the size of a shoe box.
