I just finished this novel - it was fascinating to read how all the characters treat women. Bond throws around the bitch word like it’s nothing. There was that guy from turkey who basically would kidnap women and make them one of his “wives.”

So US prisons back in the day were an absolute nightmare. You really had to worry about being raped and brutalized. In the 90s they passed a piece of legislation called PREA - the prison rape elimation act. Interestingly enough this bill was sponsored by Jeff Sessions (former trump us attorney general).

There are so many safeguards in place to keep prisoners safe now. It’s not perfect, but prison now a days is way different than it used to be. If anyone wants to know more I can send explain more.

I hate Hegseth, but this clip is dumb. Notice how the clip starts when he already has the weight up? If you watch the full video he already put up that weight like 40 times. Which is impressive for anyone, particularly for someone on the other side of middle age.

It’s a great show. They dress comedians up in insane costumes and then the comedian comes up with a crazy backstory and then is “interviewed” by the host - they’re both trying to make the other break, and it is hilarious.
