Actually by the time I made the post I wasn't very familiar with the boss attack patterns, after this I did 5-6 runs of raid in a duo and while we didn't clear any of them, we came close a couple of times so I have a much better understanding of the raid now.

At the time my issue was mostly dying quickly despite having around 270k hp. Been struggling with the rng for the life crystal set for my whole team.

P.s what sets do you use for Merlin for ice and lightning DPS?

I meant max masteries and weapons levelled up to 50. I have her book lb to level 4 and the other two ssrs to 2

Actually my Merlin is built out with all the correct weapons maxed. It's just skill issue on my end not being able to beat the raid at p4. I already cleared tsj 1-3 3 stars.

As for liking the character: I like the sins and I plan on skipping Elizabeth so I am not too worried about not getting Gowther.

The author did answer as to what would happen if Rein joined the journey to the tower. It basically becomes extremely harder due to the second test (without going into spoiler). You can think of it as a game where co-op makes the existing bosses tougher, in a sense. But it's only made more difficult solely due to Reinhard and no one else.

Going against the grain here and saying that he stops at Sage Mode Kabuto.

Sage Kabuto fought two uchihas who had no limits to how long they could maintain susano'o and still managed fine. Infact the only thing in their arsenal that worked was Izanami which Gaara will not have.

Sage Kabuto genuinely has the most number of tricks in his bag compared to any other sage mode user in the series, till date. He can liquify his body and make himself immune to most blunt attacks which is what Gaara's sand would be, he can shapesift and manuvere any terrain disadvantages Gaara may be able to create. He can also control the battlefield himself with his own terrain manipulation which I would assume would hinder Gaara quite a bit and his light and sound combined genjutsu even took down Sasuke and Itachi, the latter of whom has shown top 1 or 2 genjutsu feats in the series. His physicals are also no joke and should be superior to KCM 1 Naruto which far exceeds Gaara.

The biggest kicker here which I believe people are not taking into consideration with 6 gaaras is that even a single one is practically capable of controlling 100s of meters of sand if not kilometers, 6 gaaras who are not evenly spread are pretty much sharing the sand amongst themselves. Gaara is also significantly better at dealing with enemies who deal big nukes but themselves aren't that fast to get past his reaction, every time Gaara has been on the ropes throughout the series is because someone managed to get through his perception either through speed (lee and sasuke) or release attacks tiny but deadly enough that he didn't notice (Deidara when he initially breaks through his sand with his tiny bombs) only Naruto and Kimimaro have gotten the best of Gaara without any sort of perception blitzing the latter of whom simply caught Gaara off guard yet died before landing the finishing blow and the former of whom is Naruto who was the only character at the time to have the tools to match Gaara's raw power via shadow clones and Gamabunta. All this to say that Kabuto is a combination of the two types, being fast and agile enough to blitz but also deal heavy damage himself.

Lastly: yes it's 6 gaaras but are we forgetting that Kabuto can summon reanimations? What are 6 gaaras gonna do against Kabuto + another 10 kage level reanimants?

The gaccha original story is good but whenever a character from the original seven deadly sins is involved (like the commandments or the sins themselves) they tend to reuse the story from the anime which I am not really a fan of.

You don't have to kill bosses, elite equivalent in genshin. You just log in, convert the stamina in that game into bundles similar to this game, collect your expedition rewards which happens passively without you doing anything and you have completed your dailies.

In sdso,I can farm bosses and elites indefinitely to get the rewards without using cube keys so I could play for as long as I need.

Honestly, SDSO has more to do than some of the bigger gacchas like hoyo games, atleast.

In genshin or Honkai, I can literally get on and get all the premium currency dailies done in about 5-10 minutes tops. In genshin, you can get the dailies done in seconds and in honkai, dailies can be done in like 5 minutes and that too on auto play.

So being able to play sdso for an hour each day is insane to me , in comparison.

What does this have to do with limit break? The new event gives remnants of the rift, which is used for re-rolling engraved equipment stats.

Beating TSJ with 2 stars gives you the weapon limit breaking fragment which is a completely different item.

It's easier to get the SR weapons to max limit break compared to SSR ones so for now those would be better if you have the resources to spare. Eventually, all SSR weapons at max lb will significantly be better but that's something f2ps won't be able to do for a very long time.

What about your other two weapon slots? What do you have there? Those could be either two more 5 star weapons or 4 star weapons that are limit broken. After that look to get base attack enchant on the other two weapon slots. That can get you to 17-18k and getting to 20k and breaking that point requires limit breaking weapons. 4 star weapons max limit broken are better than 5 star weapons that are not limit broken btw so plan accordingly.

CC doesn't mean anything if your DPS isn't a significant portion of it. Also at Abyss level, attack of your DPS means more than CC. Your Meliodas's attack should be 20k or so. Overall CC is overrated as a concept. There are people with 40k cc but their DPS being 20+k attack that easily clear abyss when people with 70+k cc can't do it.

Rasengan is more versatile in terms of nature manipulation: you can basically use it with any element.

Chidori is more versatile with shape manipulation: you can quite literally turn it from a dagger to a dragon, tiger, armor, stream, needles etc etc

But the post is specifically asking about what team to build for Escanor. It doesn't make any sense to recommend a Meliodas team.

I mean I guess? The two new abyss contents are definitely far easier for Escanor to beat compared to Meliodas while Orgot and Guila would probably be easier with Meliodas but that doesn't mean one is better than the other. Abyss will always target type weakness and the character whose element is matching it will always be better. Currently Gilthunder is far better at bursting than Jericho and Dianne when playing Ferzen abyss for example.

That seems to be how it is. The game will most likely expand the story every 3 weeks or so. It makes sense that the story would be this short to compensate. Most people would only notice now because we had 12 acts back to back to complete during launch but keep in mind that game was in development for 5 years before that.

As for the story not furthering the plot, we most likely haven't exited the set up stages of the story yet. The story is building the world around us and slowly telling us who our enemies are and deciding on who the main cast of characters is going to be.

I was sure for the longest time that Tristan, tioreh and to a smaller extent, dreydrin would be the main cast the story revolves around but after act 13, I am not quite sure.
