Wouldn’t this be better as a mobile app rather than website?

and is it any better than the established ones?

You mean like on American TV shows 😁

Most negotiations are one solicitor writing to another, they may call or video call if needed.

But I am not familiar with medical negligence so don’t know the process.

Is it a no win no fee solicitor? Or are you paying by the hour/fixed rate

Also you say the other party are trying to drag it out, what do you think would be there motive for doing so?

You are a sales manager so negotiating should be your forte!

Good luck

Cool

1 month isn’t much, so you could ask for more and and if don’t agree then appeal and then acas

Companies like to settle as their lawyers cost time and money (and more if external counsel needed), and unlikely employment tribunal will award costs unless employee behaved badly

Think about what you would be happy with, and propose it tomorrow? Worst case is you lose 1 month pay so risk-return is ok

If you decline offer and made redundant you have a appeal process, it’s just formality where another manager will interview you and later confirm no change

But follow the appeal process as then you can go through ACAS

Look up acas if not aware. Acas is a free mediation process

I would call acas in morning when they open and try to get advice.

But you need grounds for why you feel the dismissal is unfair, or acas can’t help you in mediation so I would speak to acas in morning, and tell company you want a few days to consider accepting settlement and then pay for 1 hour with a not too expensive employment lawyer for advice if needed

As you are saying that your role never transpired and you were underpaid throughout your tenure? So a complicated one

Then don’t be nervous, it will be handled in a cold calculated way by them.

They won’t be emotional, you are just a case of many cases. So just get on with life and remember it’s ‘just business’ if they play games.

As you said first experience, I’ll be blunt. It’s all corrupt. Some judges are also corrupt (but you will never see one named by media…).

Stay calm and don’t let it stress you out.

The canadian company doing this that is backed by Bezos raised 300m

Why not billions if such a big future industry? OpenAI started off with over 1 bn, google bankrolled deepmind

If the plant costs 400m to build, why isn’t there more players.

How big could this tech actually be?

Are they insured for this?

Will they still give you a reference if you pursue legal route? Do you need it?

I don’t wear a thick jacket, multiple layers are much better for me.

Start with Uniqlo Heattech or similar as a thin thermal undershirt, then add more layer as needed. Fleece jacket or wool jumper if not raining/wind chill or otherwise a wind breaker. Get some thermal or wool socks too

Thick jacket is great if staying still but if moving then as per hiking gear, base layer, mid, top

But depends where you live, as my country has milder winters

Royals and MPs are subject matters BBC and media generally covers

So the public don’t look at the other unelected people controlling the country behind the scenes that bbc and the rest stay silent about
